The Playgirl signature pump n' please looked like an interesting toy to try out, because it not only offers the suction action that is purported to simulate oral sex, but because it has a cleverly-positioned bullet vibrator as well. In my opinion, the vibrator is like a failsafe, an assurance of being able to have an orgasm if I can't quite get acclimated to the suction.

The pump 'n please is made out of hard plastic and rubber, and features a protruding bullet vibrator that is situated in the middle of the suction piece. The suction piece itself is shaped out of hard plastic, and features a pretty floral design along the top. The hard plastic is a bit of a deterrent, as it isn't the kind of material I'm fond of pressing firmly against my vulva and clitoral area, which I had to do in order to create a strong enough seal in order to have suction.

Suction is controlled via a hand pump ball that is attached via a rubber tube. The tube is long enough to ensure there will be no tangles or problems getting set up, but is pulls out from the end of the hand pump ball easily, so take care if you tend to move about during play. I found the hand pump ball to be rather hard to squeeze, and after several pumps my hand was definitely feeling the effects of the exertion. I also discovered that you should definitely not squeeze the hand pump ball too hard, lest you enjoy the sensation of your clitoris being sucked right off of your body.

Ironically enough, the one thing I scoffed at about the toy was the bullet vibrator, and it wound up being the one aspect of the toy I was able to get off with. The combination of the hard plastic molding of the suction piece and the hard-to-squeeze hand pump ball left me uncomfortable and unable to squeeze it fast enough to create an enjoyable rhythm. It was the bullet vibrator, which is powered by four watch batteries, that saved the day. The vibrations, which I initially didn't think would be strong enough to provide me with an orgasm, turned out to be more than enough to get the job done. Those vibrations, combined with the light suction I had going on thanks to a few light squeezes of the hand pump ball, wowed me with a rather surprising and intense orgasm.

In all honesty, I don't think I would recommend the Playgirl signature pump n' play, especially if you don't have the hand strength that the hand pump ball seems to require in order to create consistent and pleasurable suction. But if you can handle that, you'll love what the combination of the suction and the precisely-placed vibrations can do for your clit.
