The Oui! came packaged in Eden's standard, discreet packaging. Inside the Oui! was in a plain white box. It was wrapped in bubble wrap inside the box and had the charger cord with it as well (keep in mind these don't come with any kind of wall adapter, but you can use any USB adapter like you'd use for your phone). Taking the toy out of the box, I was immediately surprised by how soft the material is. Take that nice, velvety silicone that comes to mind when you think of a really high-quality toy, and multiply that by like, 10. No joke, it's unlike any other toy I've ever felt. Something else that caught me off guard was that there is some squish to the toy. Not much, but enough to be noticeable. I assumed this was to keep the toy from being too hard and to add a little bit of "give" when pushing against your body (whatever area you might decide to use it on, at least). Now it is a little smaller than I expected (decently smaller than my palm), but that shouldn't be any kind of setback.

I immediately plugged it in so I could get it to a full charge and get it ready to try out. The charger is magnetic, and there are 2 metal nodes on the back of the toy. These nodes also double as the buttons to operate the toy. Either will turn it on, and you can use both to cycle through the modes and patterns. Pressing the right button will start you off at the steady vibration (there are 3, at different intensities), and continuing to press it will cycle through the patterned vibrations. Pressing the left will take you back, so you don't need to cycle completely through just to go back to a previous mode. To turn it off, you just press either button and hold for approximately 3 seconds. During charging, a light will flash when it's connected to the charger and will glow solid once charging is complete. Playing around with the vibrations and patterns, and I was impressed at how strong this little thing is. Definitely not what I expected, but it was a pleasant surprise nonetheless, and it made me that much more excited to try it out.

I decided to give this a go with my husband and let him use it on me, you know, for "additional feedback". We cleaned it off with a bit of spray cleaner and a rag and immediately got to work. I was lying on my back with him lying between my legs. He focused the toy directly on my clit, slightly spreading me open to get better access. I do feel like some "points" of the star have stronger vibrations than others, specifically the top and sides are stronger than the bottom 2, but I have no way of actually confirming that other than how I feel it. He did use water-based lube on me (be sure to not use any silicon-based lubes to avoid breaking down the material of the toy), but he also expressed that it was a little difficult to hold on to, which in turn made it difficult to find a good spot for the toy. At first, I thought he was just getting distracted by how he was nibbling on my thighs, so I took charge for a bit, but I do agree that the toy is a little difficult to hold. I'm not much for patterns, as I prefer a steady vibration, so I kept it on the strongest steady vibration (the 3rd mode/setting). I kept rotating the toy to get my clit nestled between the points of the star, as well as applying pressure to reach both the bottom and top areas of my clit at the same time. I did feel as if I got close to cumming a couple of times, but I also feel that I started to get a little numb to the toy, so I was never fully able to reach an orgasm with it. Also, my husband decided he wanted a turn and literally took it out of my hand, so I had to come back to it. Even after taking a break from direct clitoral stimulation, I still felt as if I was a bit numb and wasn't able to cum. Honestly, I think I would've left out the lube as it gave the toy a little too much slip and didn't really give me a good "hold" to keep it in place on my clit.

The second experience pretty much mirrored the first. I will say there's a bit of a learning curve, but once you get that down, then this can be a great toy with plenty of uses. I did enjoy just rubbing it along my body before actually using it on my clit (and I may end up using this as a back massager later). I've found that I prefer not to have any lube with this either. The material is soft enough on its own that I feel lube just kinda interferes and makes everything more difficult than what it needs to be. I also ran into the problem of where to grab it because it's very easy to accidentally push buttons, and nothing's more frustrating than finding your rhythm and then accidentally losing it. I was able to cum the second time around, and while it wasn't earth-shaking or ground-breaking, it was a good finish that didn't leave me disappointed.

The vibrations were surprisingly pretty strong with the Oui!, but the little bit of squishiness that the toy has kinda mutes it a little bit. Even with that, they're stronger than what I'd expect from a toy this size. I do feel like the very top point, and the 2 side points have stronger vibrations than the bottom 2. (How I determined the top from the bottom is by looking at the back of the toy and looking for the markings in the silicone. The markings are towards the top.)

I had to be very careful not to overdo it with the Oui! This toy did numb me a bit after too long, so maybe use this once you've already been teased, aroused, etc. The orgasm itself wasn't as strong as I've had from other toys, but it wasn't bad either. It's a nice finish.
