Use

The Nature Max is made by Joy Division. When I first saw this toy I must say it looked big. Once I received the product I was very amazed by it the picture did no justice for it. When I took off bottom piece to apply the batteries this toy started humming. This toy vibrations are strong but very quiet I noticed that this toy has no odor to it. The Nature Max does come with a satin like bag to store it in if you do not wish to keep the box. I must say do not pull on drawstrings to hard or one will fall out like mine did.

Material / Texture

This toy is made out of plastic and silicone with a veined texture. There is no latex in this toy so you are safe if you're allergic to latex. It is also Hype-allergenic. This toy really does attract lint and hair so I suggest keeping it in a safe place.
    • No odor
    • Smooth

Design / Shape / Size

This looks like a penis just with batteries it is black and only comes in black. The length of this toy is 8 1/2” inches long with an insert able length of 7 1/4” inches. This toy is also 1 7/8” diameter while only weighing 13oz.
    • Discreet look/design
    • Realistic

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Nature Max toy offers steady vibrations while being waterproof and has multispeed. This toy has a dial base to turn it off and on while being powered by 2 AA batteries. It has three speeds low, medium and high.
    • Easy to use
    • Long lasting power
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

This toy is nice since its waterproof you can clean it in the sink with mild soap and water. The manual I relieved with this toy stated it was dishwasher safe. The company has since retracted that statement. It is not waterproof simply water resistant. It is not recommended the toy be put in the dishwasher on any cycle. I put mine in there for test reasons and it came out fine however I do not recommend it as this may damage your new toy.

[Editor's Note: Eden and the reviewer were under the impression that these products were dishwasher safe and boilable. It has come to light through the manufacturer’s correction that they are not.]
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

This toy arrives at my house in a USPS Box and once I opened it I removed the packaging paper found the toy. It comes in this nice silver box with a clear plastic over it so you can see the toy. On the box it tells you about product in three different languages. The top of the box pops right open once you remove the tape slide out the plastic tray that holds the toy. What I love about this toy is it came with a sample size lubricant which is made by Joy Division and is called Aqua Glide. The lube is water based. This toy also comes with a nice Satin bag with draw strings. This is a great thing when a toy comes with special features
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage

Experience

I had a ball with this toy I applied some water based lube and got in the shower to use it. I was worried at first that this toy was going to be very big and not pleasure me. I was so wrong the size is fine and the veins on the penis help me so much it feels just like a real penis. I am just tickled pink that I can throw my new friend in the dishwasher to be cleaned.

Wow a toy with a motor that can go in the dishwasher? That is different. Does the silicone part come off like a sleeve or something? Or does it say to put the whole thing in there..

Thanks for the review! What is the silicone like? Is it firm or squishy? Is it flexible at all or rigid?

  • Contributor: Love Buzz
I'd love to hear more about how or why this vibrator is safe to be put through the dishwasher. I've seen it listed in the product details and must say this feature has had me fascinated.
  • Contributor: Apinkjellybean04
Yes this is a very cool toy. the silicone part does not come off. you just put the whole toy in the dishwasher just make sure there are no batteries in it. the silicone is soft and squishy.

I think I would be worried about the plastic on the dial melting if I put it in the dishwasher.

    Thanks for the review.
  • Contributor: Apinkjellybean04
Yea mine did not melt i was worried that it would too. but so far it was fine.

Thank you for the review. I just wanted to urge you to contact the company to verify the information you said you found on the packaging. On the company's website, it states that this toy is just water resistant on the Nature Max product description page [https://joydivision.de/[https://www.my-joystick.de/english/dateien/nature_max_en.html]]. Also, on the product care page, it states to clean the toy with soap and water [https://joydivision.de/[https://www.my-joystick.de/english/dateien/questions.html#reinigung]].

I am glad that yours survived a wash through the dishwasher, but I would be definitely be checking with the company before you attempt it again! It would be very sad to ruin a toy that you enjoy!

I'm not sure why the links I included above were redirected to the company's introductory page.

Perhaps if I just copy and paste the URL it will work better. This is for the cleaning information page: [https://joydivision.de/https://www.my-joystick.de/english/dateien/questions.html#reinigung]

    Product page: [https://joydivision.de/https://www.my-joystick.de/english/dateien/nature_max_en.html]

If the above URLs do not work as clickable links, try copying and pasting them into your browser. I hope these work! So sorry the links were redirected.
  • Contributor: Selective Sensualist
Crud. Those links do not work either. Sorry everyone for the multiple posts. I am just trying to direct anyone who is interested toward information that might be helpful.

Simply go to Google and type in (or copy and paste) the following search query: Nature Max by JoyDivision

Click on the second hit that should pop up: joydivision(DOT)de(BACK-SLASH)www(DOT)my-joystick(DOT)de/english/dateien/?nature_?max_?en(DOT)html

That will bring up the product page. From there, you can click FAQ on the webpage's toolbar. My apologies once again. Didn't mean to write a book.

Thanks but if you go the the toy on eden it says its dishwasher safe and boil safe also in the manual i got with it says it.
  • Contributor: Love Buzz
wow, I'd read the product info of this line of products by jot division here on EF, where they are all said to be waterproof and dishwasher safe, but after checking out the product page you were trying to link to It does say they are only water resistant. makes things a little confusing!!
  • Contributor: Selective Sensualist
I contacted the company to inquire about it and I just heard back from a representative named Kathrin Kessler (Kessler(AT SYMBOL)JOYDIVISION(DOT)de . This is what she had to say:

"The Joysticks should not be put into the dishwasher. Even if the batteries
    are removed.
Except the batteries, there are some other electronic hardware inside that
    can be corrode.

For the cleaning of the Joysticks, we suggest the product clean'n'safe,
    which is also for desinfection."

The information that was enclosed with the vibrator must have been included mistakenly. The company also makes silicone dildos without mechanical parts. Silicone (WITHOUT any mechanical parts) can be safely boiled and placed in the dishwasher.

Sad. I was so excited because I really wanted a sterilizable vibrator for my husband to use for prostate massage (though I'd have to get him a smaller one than this one -- which is why I looked up the company website to begin with).
  • Contributor: Apinkjellybean04
Wow well i just wrote the review from the information i recieved and how i liked it. not my fault the company gave me a manual that said it could in the dishwasher. well i put mine in there and it came out fine. but now that a rep. told you so i will not be doing it anymore.
  • Contributor: Selective Sensualist
Oh, I never implied it was your fault. That is why I said that the information must have been included mistakenly with the vibrator in my post above. I was just trying to save you the heartbreak of ruining a toy that you said in your review that you enjoyed. Please don't take my cautions the wrong way. I only wanted to share the information that I had acquired from the company because I thought it would be helpful to others, not hurtful. I am not a hurtful and mean kind of person.
  • Contributor: Apinkjellybean04
i know your a very sweet person i thank you very much for your helpful info i changed the review so others will now know.

    Great review!
I have verified that JoyDivision vibrators are not boilable/dishwasher safe, but they are splash-proof (water resistant). The properties on the product page have been corrected to reflect this.
  • Contributor: MyDolceVita
Yeah, this happened to me as well. I never did put my toy in the dishwasher or boil it, but it was a JoyDivision product that originally said it was boilable/dishwasher safe. Not your fault, just an oopsie on the company's part. Either way, their toys are still amazing to me
  • Contributor: Apinkjellybean04
yea it was a big oopsie lol but i put it in the dishwasher mine was fine but i wont be doing it again. i love it to much.
