The Suicide Girl of Vibrators—Cute but not Unique

This is the sort of beginner's vibrator I can imagine getting for a tattoo aficionado or a rockabilly friend—non-threatening, pretty basic, waterproof (so it's easy to clean), and with some nice art on it. It's not the best vibrator in the world, but it's a good place to start when trying to work out what you might like in a sex toy.

Use

This is a pretty good take on the standard first vibrator—smooth, not too thick, a good level of vibration. Because of the way it's designed, I wouldn't recommend it for anal use—a lack of a flared base means it could potentially slide into the anus! It'd be a nice starter for internal sensation or clitoral stimulation, especially for someone who finds a bullet vibe too small/difficult to handle.

Material / Texture

The Sin is made of PU-coated plastic and has a nice velvety texture to it that I found really nice to touch. It's smooth all the way along the shaft, so there's no texture to speak of, which might be good for a beginner to sex toys. It doesn't have any smell to it either, and it's body-safe due to it being phthalates free.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Rigid

Design / Shape / Size

It's got about 6 1/2" of insertable length, which is pretty decent for most people. Again, it's smooth and fairly basic in design, nothing fancy here. Personally, I'd likely use it for clitoral stimulation as the length is convenient for that.

Functions / Performance / Controls

Like other smoothie vibes of this style, it has multiple strengths of vibration along a spectrum, from low to high. And because it takes C batteries, the vibration at the top is pretty strong! Its 3 speed push-button control is easy to use, even if your hands are lubed up and slippery. It wasn't too noisy—I felt comfortable using this in my room with my housemates about. Underwater, it did what it should do, though I did find that plastic is slightly harder to hold on to when wet!
    • Easy to use
    • Multiple settings

Care and Maintenance

As a non-porous toy, you can wipe this down with a toy cleaner (just be sure to rinse afterwards) or wash with soap and water as it's waterproof. You can use any lubricant with it you'd like. Due to the fact that it has movable parts, condoms are recommended when sharing between partners.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store
Follow-up commentary
It's not that I don't like it, it's that it hasn't really stood out for me. It's a fun novelty.
