I adore pressure-wave toys like this. Foreplay Bloom makes luxury sensations like that of LELO & Womanizer affordable. If you've been eyeing brand-name toys of this caliber and aren't sure if you want to dish out a fortune, try this!

First impression

Foreplay Bloom arrived with several other toys in a white parcel baggie, lined with bubble wrap. Its box was shrink wrapped and simple and got the job done. Inside, we get the toy, a charging cable, and a storage baggie. Most toys I get don't come with a storage pouch, so in my eyes, that's a bonus. As is typical with my reviews, I show everything next to a Rubik's Cube for size reference - those are not included!

The box and contents (aside from the rose's color) were identical to that of Wonder Bloom, which has become my favorite rose toy to date.

Once I relieved Foreplay Bloom of the confinement that was its box, I was pleased with the velvety texture of the silicone. Holding down the button turned it on, indicating that it came pre-charged. Good. I hopped in bed with it.

First Use

I'm a woman that doesn't orgasm easily; I need deep, powerful stimulation. Once I pressed Foreplay Bloom against myself, I knew. I knew Foreplay Bloom would make things easy. At least relatively speaking.

The thuddiness is absolutely lovely. I could feel the thuds reverberating down my clitoral nerves, not just on a surface level. I settled it between my legs, found something spicy to watch, and closed my thighs around the rose. Half an hour later (I know it sounds long, but for me that's about average), after biting into my pillow to stay quiet, I pulled the Foreplay Bloom away from my clit. Apparently I'd leaked. Despite my closed thighs. Strings of wetness followed the toy and fell onto my stomach. There was so much; I was beyond soaked - I was ecstatic.

Further Experience

Further use brought similar results. My subsequent orgasms came about a little bit faster, but were just as powerful. When I use Foreplay Bloom at night, I have to face the button away from myself - it's very, very bright. I've provided a photo of it charging in broad daylight - you can imagine how strong it is at night.

After a few rounds (Christmas gave me plenty of time, hah), I noticed that occasionally, Foreplay Bloom does this kinda funky thing that some pressure-wave toys do. Within minutes of starting and on a full charge, (and usually on the lowest setting) the membrane of the toy sometimes appears to get in a bit of a "stuck" position, which results in a muted, albeit still-pleasant sensation. The membrane can get unstuck on its own without intervention - this may surprise some people because the pressure-waves then go back to their full force.

If it doesn't get unstuck on its own, don't worry, the toy is likely fine. Again, I've seen other pressure-wave models do this. I've found two solutions that work for me that you can try. The first is to raise it to a higher speed; this will usually push through this "stuck" status. The second option is, without turning the toy off, to press your pinky against the membrane repeatedly until it gives way. Risky? Perhaps, but my nails are short and I'm gentle with the toy. It works for me, and I've been able to climax after getting it unstuck. Another toy that does this is LELO's Sila (also a favorite), and I've been fixing it on and off the same way for like 4 years now.

Foreplay Bloom is truly a duplicate of the Wonder Bloom, just a hot pink variant. It's also quite similar to Rose Romance as well, but that one comes without the pouch and in a different box. Both these toys require my aforementioned "fix" from time to time.

Now. Fixes aside, the similarities between the three begs the question: do they feel different? No. Do I prefer one over the other two? As someone who loves blues, I would take the teal one every time. But if I were blindfolded and asked to distinguish one from the other, I wouldn't be able to tell. They're all fantastic.

Here is the manual.

If you're not a fan of very, very intense stimulation for your clit, you may want to take a look at Mia, which has a wider mouth. It also comes with attachments.

Vibration Map

EdenFantasys makes me use all 3 vibration markers, but really, it all comes from the same spot - the "mouth". If you like the feeling of oral sex, this is like that, but more intense and not as slippery.

Mild vibrations travel through the body, but they're neither distracting nor do they make my hand go numb like how some vibrators do. The sound can be heard from beneath a blanket if it's completely quiet, but it can't be heard behind a closed door.

The vibration patterns themselves are indistinguishable from Wonder Bloom's & Rose Romance's.

Orgasm Intensity

Orgasms with Foreplay Bloom are delightful. I'm confident that if I were to try it with a squishy G-Spot dildo, they'd send me to the moon. Perhaps I'll do that after I finish typing up this review. I often see that people say you should use lube with these toys. Perhaps some people need that. I don't. The sensations are delicious on their own.
