This toy is best used for foreplay, for vaginal and clitoral stimulation during anal sex, or as a solo warm up before you bring out other bigger toys. The beak is just the right length to hit the clitoris, while at the same time the G-spot massager works its magic and the hummingbird's tail flitters around by the anus to provide extra stimulation there as well. The beak can start to cause some pain after awhile if kept in the same spot, or if pressure is applied to it, because it is pointy. I would not recommend using the G-spot stimulator anally due to it being porous and not very big to fit a condom on to protect it. This toy is great to use solo or with a partner.

This toy is made out of TPR, or Thermoplastic Rubber, so it is porous and should not be shared unless a condom is used. However, because of how small the G-spot stimulator is, a condom may be too big for it. It is not really hard; it is more like a softer jelly toy. The G-spot stimulator is ribbed at the top for extra stimulation. I would say that this is a good toy for both beginners and advanced users alike. To me there was no smell and it was not sticky. Because of the material it is made out of, it does tend to collect lint and dust easily, so be sure to store it some place where it is less likely to come in contact with them.

The design of the Hummingbird Arouser is wonderful. It hits all of the areas that most women want stimulated, all at the same time. The beak takes care of the clitoris, the G-spot stimulator is just the right size, the tail flutters around giving some extra anal stimulation, and the wings flutter on the labia which feels great as well. For me it was the perfect size, although I kinda wish the G-spot stimulator was a bit larger, but it worked wonderfully for me. I would say that this toy is mostly for beginner and intermediate users; however, it can be used by advanced users too, but they may find that it is not big enough for them or not strong enough. This toy fits nicely into a small bag to take with you if you travel. It is larger than what it looks like in the picture so it wouldn't be good to carry in a purse.

The controls of this toy are on a separate handheld remote that is connected to the toy by a wire that is about 29-1/2 inches long. It has four levels of vibrations ranging from a nice warm up to a pretty decent strength. The strongest setting may not be strong enough for some advanced users, but is perfect for beginners. The handheld remote makes changing the settings easy because it does not interrupt play. The vibrations can be felt throughout the entire toy, not just in one spot. It is still pretty quiet even on the highest setting because it has a lower-type hum, like the vibration setting of a cell phone. This toy is waterproof, but the user has to be careful not to submerge it in water because there is a small hole where the wire from the remote connects to the toy.

This toy can be washed in warm water and soap, as long as the user is careful not to get water in the small opening where the wire enters the toy, which could ruin it. A toy cleaner can also be used, which may be easier due to not having to be extra careful around the wire. The only hard part about trying to clean this toy is making sure to clean every little crevice; because of the feather design there are small crevices that you have to be sure to clean. As I stated before, this toy does collect lint and dust so it should be cleaned before and after every use. This toy can be used with both silicone and water-based lubes.

This particular toy is packaged in a plastic see-through box. It is nestled in a plastic holder inside of the box. There were no instructions with this toy, but it was fairly easy to figure out how to use it. I would not suggest using this box as a gift box because you can see through it. The plastic holder insert does make a nice storage place for the toy though, if you have a big enough place to put it. The box isn't exactly small.

This really is a wonderful toy and I am glad that I decided to buy it. It does its job well and is very easy to use.
