Eve shines her brightest when used as a clitoral vibrator. She is small, discreet and quite powerful. Her shape really lends itself to clitoral stimulation, with a groove for a finger or two and ridges for texture.

This toy is "splash-proof" which makes cleanup extra simple. However, she isn't waterproof, so that's a no go for shower or bath time love.

I discovered an unexpectedly pleasant use for this little guy when paired with a dildo. The groove on top hugs the handle of the dildo nicely and sends fairly powerful vibrations through the whole thing.

My very favorite way to play with Eve is to use her on my clit while my partner enters me from behind. Because she is sleek and small, she stays out of the way.

Eve has two components. The top of the the toy is bright pink and made of hard ABS plastic. The bottom lends itself better to use on the body. It is black and has a dreamy, velvety coating of silicone. There are six ridges in the silicone at one end of the toy that make a nice little grippy spot for texture.

The entire toy is non-porous, phthalate-free and hypoallergenic.

It is worthwhile to note that this is a very firm toy. The silicone coating, while having a lovely smooth texture, is quite thin. Beneath the thin coating, the toy is hard, hard plastic.

I don't find Eve to be a terribly convenient toy for travel. She has no lock function and while it's unlikely that she would be switched on in a bag, it is entirely possible. Additionally, because she's a rechargeable toy, there's no way to just pop the batteries out.

That said, she is a sleek little thing (3 inches long by 1 and 1/2 inch tall) and would be quite easy to hide.

I'm a big fan of Eve's shape. She fits perfectly in my hand, almost like a little computer mouse. I get a huge amount of control and am able to guide the angle and pressure perfectly.

The only part of this toy's design that I am not crazy about is the weight. Eve is honestly rather light and hollow feeling, which is something that I tend to relate to a toy that is not very high quality. I'm yet to have any reason to believe that Eve is not a high quality toy, but I do find that the light, hollow nature of the toy creates slightly buzzy vibrations that travel up through the hand quite a bit. This hasn't been a deal breaker for me yet, but it is something to be aware of.

Eve is controlled by two raised black buttons. Holding the (+) button will turn on the toy. After it is on, the (+) and (-) buttons can be used to cycle through the seven vibration patterns. There is a standby mode which allows the toy to be operated again without having to hold down any buttons. To turn Eve off, hold down the (-) button.

There is a small LED indicator light to ease navigation through all of the modes. I find the controls to be simple and very straightforward. The buttons are located exactly where my thumb rests while the toy is in use, which makes it incredibly convenient for changing modes. The vibration patterns have a good amount of variety, from rather gentle steady vibrations, to throbbing intense pulses.

My favorite mode combines escalating vibes with bursts of powerful steady vibrations that vary in length. The more intense bursts sneak up and turn you to a puddle of jelly, and then tease you by leaving just when you were getting used to them. It's powerful and exciting, just enough to push me right over the edge.

I do find Eve to be just a bit noisier than I would like. In a very quiet house, I think it would be possible for her to be heard through a closed door. I certainly don't think that she would be a good fit for a roommate/dorm situation. If you're looking for absolute discretion and privacy, I'm not sure that Eve would be the best vibrator for the job.

The charge on Eve lasts a total of two hours. As expected, I was able to get a couple hours of use between charges before I found that the vibrations began to feel weak and buzzy. When that started happening, I plugged her right in and after two hours of charging, we were back in business at a full charge with powerful vibrations.

The fact that this toy is rechargeable was one of the biggest selling points for me when comparing vibrators this time around. I was sick of having to worry about keeping fresh batteries on hand or dealing with cords while I'm trying to get off.

Eve came with a small cable that plugs right into a very discreet port on the side of the toy. The other end is USB, which is convenient because it can be charged with a computer or in a wall outlet with the use of a USB to wall adapter. The versatility of the USB plug also makes it more convenient for travel because the wall adapter of whatever country you happen to be in at the time can easily be obtained.

My only complaint here is that the USB to wall adapter was not included with the toy. This was not a huge problem for me because I have several of these laying around anyway, but it very well could have been quite the setback.

When I said that the charging port was discreet, I meant it. The first time I went to charge Eve, it seemed to me that the port was sealed. I flipped through the manual that she came with to see if I was missing something, but found no further explanation. So I just sort of jammed the plug right into the spot where it seemed meant to go. Looking back, that could have been completely disastrous, but it worked out alright for me. The little LED light came on to let me know that she was indeed charging.

Cleanup with Eve is simple. Because she is splashproof, I soap her up and pop her under the faucet for just a moment. A damp cloth or cleaning wipes would also be a good fit with this toy.

Just be sure to give a bit of extra attention to the ridges, as well as the place where the ABS plastic and the silicone meet. Bacteria could catch in both of these places and get quite icky.

Because there are silicone components on this toy, be sure to use a water based lube to prevent the possibility of deterioration.

When she's not being used, Eve likes to be stored in a cool, dry place where she isn't touching any other silicone toys.
