When I saw the new Inked line of toys, I knew I’d have to have one. The tattoo designs were enough to make me want to add one to my collection. I chose the black slimline that is adorned with a skull, snake, dagger, and rose tattoo style decal. Right off the bat I was surprised with the quality of the toy because it was so affordable and they could have sold this line on the novelty of the design concept alone. But even without the tattoo element, this is a very versatile, strong, and sturdy multi-speed vibrator.

This toy is about as traditional as they come as far as vibrator design goes. It is 7” long by 1” across and has a tapered top with a slightly rounded head. It is made of hard smooth plastic and uses two AA batteries that are inserted under the screw cap at the bottom. This bottom cap is also where you’ll find the traditional power/speed dial.

Once you turn this toy on, it goes through a range of low to medium-high vibrations. The toy is easy to control and use, and can be used with any lube you prefer. I tend to use it for a combination of clitoral stimulation and vaginal penetration, but this will work fine for either and not necessarily just for solo play either. This is a great toy to have your partner use on you, even if they’re not experienced with toys. Its straight, slim design makes it easy to use from any angle, making it manageable and pleasurable for anyone from the toy beginner to the more advanced just looking for an easy go-to toy. It’s also a good choice for those with smaller female anatomy because it’s narrow and only has to go in as deep as you’re comfortable pushing it.

It is not the most powerful toy that I have, but it is definitely high on the spectrum. Unfortunately, its noise level goes along with its vibrations making this not the best choice for those looking for a quiet, discreet toy. It also looks like most people would expect a vibrator to, which is another strike against it in the discretion category, but it could also be easily hidden if visibility is your main issue. Thankfully, discretion in toys is not an issue for me so I personally don't view these as negatives.

This toy almost always does the trick for me, mainly through clitoral orgasms as its too straight and rigid to really hit the g-spot, although the vibrations do feel great when inserted. It could also be used as a massager around the nipples, genital region, scrotum, or even the outside of the anus. It has a smooth, sleek finish that makes it glide across the skin as easy as can be, and adding a little lube only makes it smoother. The only thing this toy is really not at all suited for is anal insertion which is a major no-no on this one as it has no base at all and could easily get lost.

The toy is advertised as waterproof, but looking at the very thin rubber ring inside the battery case, I was skeptical. I put this one in a sink full of water for a few minutes, while turned on and off, and then dried it off and inspected the battery case. There was no water at all inside but since I’m still a little nervous just based on the look of the seal, I’m going to keep this one in dry areas, but that’s just my preference.

The hard plastic this toy is made of is one of my preferred toy materials. It is affordable but also pretty darn safe at the same time. This one is also phthalate free. It is tasteless, odorless, non-porous and can be used with any lube you want. It can be very thoroughly cleaned with soap and water, but I would still recommend a condom be used for sharing because in my book you can never be too safe when it comes to these things. I’ve washed it many times now and the decal is still completely intact, which is something I was initially concerned about. I didn’t want to wash it a few times and have the image start to chip away on me, and it's proved as strong as the toy itself. It can be stored among other clean hard plastic toys without any damage to the toys as well. The initial packaging is a somewhat flimsy plastic box with a clear plastic insert that you could store it in, but it takes up a little more space than is necessary to store a toy like this one.

I would easily recommend this to just about anyone in the market for a basic toy, whether it is their first or 500th. It is very attractive with kind of an edgy style, is incredibly versatile, has amazing power, and is great on batteries.

This vibe is still working and running smoothly, just like brand new, after quite a bit of use. The decal is also fully intact after many washings - I was curious about how that would hold up and I've been nothing but pleased.
