What a Tease!

Though the setting of this toy are in a really odd order, this is a still a pure silicone toy with 10 unique settings and a very low price tag. Whether you're a beginner or experienced g-spot vibrator user, I think there's something you can get out of this toy.

Use

The Posh Petite Teaser 4 is intended for internal, vaginal use. Due to the curved, angled tip this vibrator is great for g-spot stimulation.

This toy does lack a flared based which means that it shouldn't be used for anal play.

The toy can be used just about anywhere including in the tub due to it being completely waterproof, rather than just splash proof as some vibrators, who claim to be waterproof, actually are.

Material / Texture

This vibrator is made of silicone. Silicone has its pros and cons, but is generally considered the best material for a toy to be made of. The pros of silicone are that it's incredibly safe and scores a 10 on EdenFantasy's safety scale. It's completely non-porous, phthalates free, hypoallergenic, and made of food-grade material. Those with allergies or those who are especially icked out by germs don't need to worry with silicone!

The downside to silicone is that many toys made of silicone have a sticky feeling. They tend to drag over the skin and will instantly be covered in hair in the home of anyone who owns pets. The great thing about the Posh Petite Teaser 4 is that it's made out of a really velvety silicone. It feels almost more like PU coated plastic than anything actually. While it does attract a bit more hair than a plastic toy might, it really isn't that much of an issue. It has all the safety of 100% silicone with none of the gross stickiness.

The toy does have a slight odor. By this I mean, I held the toy directly up to my nose testing to see if it had a smell and found it did have a very slight one. If someone were just to open and use the toy, they probably wouldn't even notice the incredibly minimal odor.

Silicone can be a bit more difficult to store. It shouldn't be stored touching other silicone toys. You shouldn't use silicone based lubricant with silicone toys. Most people use silicone based lubricant in the shower/tub because they find water based lubricant washes away too quickly. This could lead those who were hoping to use the waterproof petite teaser 4 in the tub with a little bit of a conundrum.

Because this toy simply comes in a plastic bag with no plastic shell/insert, I'd recommend either putting this in a pillowcase or Ziploc to store. It isn't a large toy. As long as you have it wrapped up so it won't be touching any other silicone toys, storage shouldn't be an issue

Design / Shape / Size

Don't let the 'Petite' title fool you. This is actually a pretty standard sized toy. In total it's about 6 inches in length, though only about 5 inches of that can be inserted. The toy has a diameter of 1.25 inches. I don't know what world the executives of Posh live in, but I don't really consider this toy petite. I'm now quite scared to try a toy they haven't labeled as petite; it must be a monster! The whole reason I bought the petite version rather than standard was because I tend to get overwhelmed by toys with a large girth. While this toy is hardly 'petite', I didn't find myself feeling overwhelmed. It was a pretty comfortable size. The shape of the tip does allow for fairly easy insertion.

The toy does have about a 30 degree curve for g-spot stimulation. Because the toy is made out of silicone, I found that it had the perfect amount of give to it. The toy was slightly flexible so that it didn't have a pokey feeling. However, it had enough firmness that it didn't nullify the curve.

I also found that the shape of the tip was really great. It does come slightly to a point to allow for some precision, but it's still broad enough that it probably won't 'miss' your g-spot. I own other g-spot vibrators where it's really a hit or miss on whether or not the toy succeeds in just being in the right location for your body. I think that due to the toy's larger and rounder point, it's going to be more successful for more people in being in the proper location. If you absolutely hate non-pinpoint stimulation however, you might be slightly disappointed by the slightly broader vibrations.

Functions / Performance / Controls

I have had a lot of issues with other vibrators claiming that they have 7 functions when in practice it feels a lot more like 3 or 4.

Personally, I do feel that while some of these functions are quite similar, they are all distinct and unique. According to Posh, the settings are as follows:
1. High Vibration
2. Medium Vibration
3. Low Vibration
4. Gradient Burst
5. Intermittent
6. Surge
7. Insta Surge
8. Even Step
9. Roller Coaster Spurt
10. Pulsate

Now, for someone more familiar with vibrator lingo, these titles might throw you off slightly. What is Even Step? What the heck does the spurt in 'Roller Coaster Spurt' mean?

For most of us, we know vibrating, pulsating, escalating and roller coaster. Therefore, I'll try and describe these 10 functions using those terms.
1. High Vibration
2. Medium Vibration
3. Low Vibration
4. Escalating
5. This is a fast pulsation
6. This is an even fast, higher intestine pulsation
7. The surge is a very, very quick deep pulsation
8. This is a steady pulsation of lower intensity
9. This is a steady pulsation of a higher intensity
10. This is the deepest pulsation

There is really no noticeable order to to the patterns. While I find them all to be pleasurable, I do get somewhat annoyed at the lack of order. You don't get an intuitive sense of what's going to happen with the next push of the button. You never know if the next push is going to give you a higher or lower intensity level in vibrations or if it's going to be fast, slow, or even pulsation. It's a sort of vibrational grab bag.

I think that at it's highest setting this toy is around a 4 on the buzz scale. On it's lowest setting, it's maybe a 2 on the buzz scale. The thing that really impresses me about this toy is the lack of noise change between its lowest setting and its highest. It's really quiet no matter how intense you have the settings. While this may not please those who need really high levels of vibration, I found this toy to be really pleasing personally. It offers some broader g-spot stimulation and I found that the pulse settings were quite pleasurable.

To turn the vibrator on, simply press the button on the bottom of the vibrator. The bottom does have an LED indicator. It will light up according to the vibrations, which can be really interesting to look at during some of the pulsation settings. It could be helpful for those using them during couples play. To turn the vibrator off, simply hold the button down for about 3 seconds. It should be noted that when you turn the vibrator back on, it will turn on to a random function. It won't turn back to the setting you last used nor will it turn on to the first vibration in a setting. It just turns to a random setting, which can be a bit annoying and is very odd.

Because of the wide-range of different patterns, I really recommend this for beginners. It would allow someone to figure out what they do or don't like about each of the 10 functions and allow them to be more knowledgeable in future vibrator purchases. There's also the great fact that even if 4 of the functions aren't for you, you still have 6 more great ones!

This toy doesn't seem to particularly guzzle through batteries. It takes only a single AAA battery, and I haven't had to replace it yet. It does seem to be run pretty efficiently.
    • Discreet sound
    • Easy to use
    • Lots of variety in function

Care and Maintenance

Although this toy is non-porous, it is still best to clean a toy between each use. The Posh Petite Teaser 4 can be wiped down with some soapy water. There's no need to be hesitant since the toy is completely waterproof.

Storing silicone isn't as simple as storing plastic or TPR. The Posh Petite Teaser 4 shouldn't be allowed to touch other silicone toys. Personally, I wrap my silicone toys in cloth, such as a pillow case or sock, before storing them in my toy box. This toy isn't difficult to store because it is a smaller toy.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

The cardboard box is quite pretty. The toy doesn't come in a plastic shell but simply a bag instead. I would still say that the box and toy is pretty enough that I would feel comfortable giving it as a gift.
    • Minimal
    • Would make a nice gift

Experience

I think this toy is a really amazing buy if it's what you're looking for. You just have to make sure that this product falls under that category. This isn't going to be something that pushes the steel clitoris club, of which I consider myself a member, over the edge into moaning ecstasy. Nor is this going to give a size queen a filled up feeling. This toy is absolutely AMAZING for a beginner. This is something that can show someone that you don't need to shell out tons of money for a high quality toy. This is made out of a great material, it is a really beautiful shape and color, and it offers some fairly strong and distinct vibrations. It would make a really lovely gift as well.

Sounds like it has about everything going for it except for power. Still seems like some awesome features for some people though! If I didn't have Vitality, I'd probably get one from the Posh line, but I know I'll always grab for Vitality. Lol.
