This is a cock ring, you can use it on a dildo or vibrator to add a bit of “extra” to your toy of choice, but this is best used secured around the base of an actual penis! If you are totally new to cock rings, start with a simpler one, the added weights on this one can be a bit intimidating (unless you and your partner skipped this more “main stream” type of toy and jumped right into anal play, then this one is probably a bit too tame for you). If you have experience with other cock rings and are just looking for one that is a little “different” from the rest, then this might be just what you are looking for!

Let’s start with “what is this made out of”… The removal (and reusable) vibrating “head” is hard plastic, and it should go without needing to be said, but do not use the vibrating piece as an insert of any kind, it is little and WILL get lost! When I say little, I mean it too; it measures three-quarters of an inch wide by one-inch long! Play safe and only use it with the rest of the cock ring! The balls in the dangling bit are weighted (either metal or plastic, I am not sure) and the main “body” of the cock ring is TPR Silicone. The TPR smells a bit like a Jelly toy, but that (thankfully) dissipates unless you’re sniffing at it (writing a review or something)! The main “hole” is made of thick TPR, so while it does have a decent amount of stretch to it, it also does not stretch so much that it is ineffective. The area around and in between the weights is much thinner and when you really get those weights swinging (in your hand playing with it or with use). It stretches so that the weighted balls hit nearly twice as far away from the base of the cock ring than it does if you are barely moving it, this comes in really handy while in use since the length of the weighted piece is only two and one-quarter inches! There are also several different textures on this cock ring, depending on which part you are focusing on, it has large nubs, a small nub on the heaviest weighted ball, but overall it is mainly smooth. I find TPR Silicone to be a bit on the “sticky” side of materials we play with, if you aren’t careful (or opt not to shave and or closely trim), this will pull hairs! My boyfriend complained that the weighted balls at the bottom of this cock ring snagged leg hair, ouch!

Normally, I complain because vibrating features on cock rings are too small, not this time! With the Bang-O, I have the opposite issue. With the size of the vibrator on it (0.75” by 1”), the thickness of the TPR, and the size of the texturing (there is an upside down star covered in varying lengths of nubs) that stands up to half an inch from the TPR covering, it is just too much! The texturing is great, but I didn’t really notice it too much other than the fact that it seemed to be in the way at times.

The weighted balls that dangle from the bottom of the cock ring really took some getting used to while in use as well. Prior to this cock ring, we really hadn’t done much exploring with anal play, so having the weightiest of the balls smacking right into my anus while in a missionary-based position was a new feeling! In a doggy-style position, the weighted balls nudged my clit with each movement and felt really great too!

The “sticky” factor of the TPR made this a little trickier to get off when we were finished too, besides catching several leg hairs on my boyfriend, it was difficult to get the vibrating piece out of prior to washing it. The packaging claims this item to be waterproof, but the vibrator is most certainly NOT waterproof! I would call it splash-proof at best, but since I have had a minor incident with the vibrating piece since its last “bath”, I would recommend removing that part before getting it wet.

As for the “fit” of this cock ring…it fits my guy very well. Unstretched, the cock ring’s opening is one-inch, I can stretch it by hand to roughly four-inches across (in a squashed circle) without too much effort. If you or your partner is not average to above in the endowment department, I would suggest you try something else. But, this should fit most men pretty well.

As with any TPR Silicone product, you should wash this before and after each use. If you are like me, that never happens. Because of the sticky feel of this one though, it always gets a good rinse or a wipe down prior to use and a cleaning afterward. To clean…remove the vibrating bit (and the weighted balls too if you think you can manage not to lose them) and wash with soap and warm water or your choice of toy cleaner. I only suggest taking out the weighted balls if you don’t hand-dry all the bits of this toy…I do not, I let my cock rings hang to dry on the knobs of my bathroom mirror, and noticed this evening that the center ball actually has a rust spot on it! I have several choices for wipes to use prior to any “play time”, I have standard “baby wipes” (mostly because they were cheap and smell nice), Afterglow wipes (spendy but nice, save these for other uses), and tons of Eden Fantasys branded toy wipes (this is my “free item with purchase” of choice)!

When I was pulling the vibrating piece out of the cock ring to measure it while typing up this review, the rubber piece protecting the “on” button went flying out and across the room! I managed to get it wedged back in the space, but it is now puckered in one spot and will not lay flat anymore. This is the reason I mentioned above that I recommend not getting the vibrating portion wet…at all if possible. I like to keep my toys in as good of shape as I possibly can and the chance that water “could” get in and damage the motor really bothers me.
