There is a single button; hold it to turn it on and then press to cycle through the different vibration patterns and strengths. The vibrations, even at the lowest setting, are pretty strong; localized to the end of the toy, making it easy to hold onto.

The toy itself appears to be very well-made, entirely encapsulated in silicone for a soft feel.
