The Double Play vibrating cock ring can be used a few different ways. It can add extra stimulation to a woman's clitoris and perineum during intercourse. This vibrating cock ring is made of UR3, which is a thermal plastic elastomer mix of PVC and silicone. It is meant to feel realistic. It is phthalates free, and latex free, but quite porous, so care needs to be taken to keep it clean. Personally I think it feels more like jelly, but somewhat smoother and less tacky. As I said before, it is very stretchy. I also noticed it has a somewhat sweet perfume scent to it, not overpowering though. You would have to put your nose up to it to smell it.

The bullet is made of hard silver plastic with a red dial base at the end. It also has an o-ring where the dial base screws on, which makes it waterproof. Just be sure to tighten the base really well if you're going to use this in water.

Unstretched the Double Play cock ring is almost 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. The diameter of the inner ring is 1/2 inch unstretched, but can be stretched up to 4 inches diameter. At the top is a triangular shaped extension with multiple ridges on the underside, and a whole in the middle where the vibrating bullet is inserted. At the bottom there is an extension that looks like a little bowling pin. I found both of the extending pieces to be quite pleasurable. They did not seem to get in the way of our play, but actually enhanced it. My husband also tried it with the bottom extension below his scrotum and said he could feel it but that it didn't really add much pleasure-wise for him. Though he felt the cock ring itself does stretch very nicely and fits him comfortably worn either way.

The bullet is where I feel this toy is lacking. It looks like your typical 3 inch long silver toy bullet, but it uses N1 batteries, which I have found to be ineffective as far as power goes in vibrators. It does have a dial base so it has multiple levels of vibration, but they go from unnoticeable to fairly mild. Also we did have a bit of a problem with the dial base changing strengths while we were using it. I do want to mention though that this toy comes with 2 N1 batteries. So if you like mild vibrations and don't mind the N1 batteries, this is a very nice addition, especially since these batteries tend to run out easily and aren't the easiest to find in the stores. Also this vibrator is probably one of the quietest ones I've ever owned. It cannot be heard unless you put it right up to your ear.

UR3 is a very porous material, making it difficult to clean thoroughly enough. So this really should only be used with one partner. And a good disinfecting soap or toy cleaner is advisable. After cleaning and drying thoroughly, it is a good idea to dust this down with cornstarch to keep it from becoming tacky.

This also should probably be stored by itself in a plastic ziploc bag, because of incompatibility with other material.

Water based lubricants are the only ones recommended for use with UR3.
