I was interested in trying this strange looking cock ring. It can be used during intercourse, during masterbation as a clit vibrator or cock ring, to give a little vibe-love to each other during oral sex, or anywhere else some stimulation is desired. I don't think it is suitable to create or sustain an erection, it's more of a vibrating toy only, due to the design of the ring. It would not be suitable for anal use. The box says "for external use only."

Because the sleeve is silicone, it should only be used with water-based lubes.

It is fairly small and would be easy to stash and take with you while traveling (it is small for a toy but quite large for a cock ring/stimulator).

The pink sleeve is made of silicone, 10 out of 10 on Eden's safety scale. It feels smooth with not much drag to it, except for the nubs. The bullet is plastic, 8 on the safety scale. There is about 1/2" of the bullet exposed at the end with the cord where there is a hole in the silicone sleeve, and fluids can collect there and seep onto the bullet inside of the sleeve. There is a faint plasticky smell to this product. The sleeve is soft, but firm enough to keep its shape while in use. The cock ring part stretches enough to fit well but not too much, so it stays in place well and he says it's comfortable to have on. The nubs are really nice if you like that kind of texture, not so rigid that they hurt, but you definitely know they are there, and in a good way. The bright pink color seems a little strange for a cock ring. There are three other similar toys in this series. It appears that they all use the same bullet and control box, but there are two different silicone "enhancers", and each comes in two different colors (see "Similar Products" links below).

This toy has a black egg-shaped bullet that is larger around than most bullets, with a cord attached. The bullet's circumference at the largest point is 4" with a diameter of 1 1/4", and at the smallest part the circumference is 3 1/4" and diameter is about an inch. The bullet is about 2 1/4" long.

It comes with a separate silicone sleeve and as I mentioned before, a large stretchy cock ring, which should fit a wide variety of sizes. It's larger and less stretchy than many cock rings, but there are little wings on the inside of the ring that adjust to the size of the penis and keep it in place quite well during use. The cock ring is a little over 2 1/2" from side to side, with an inside opening of 3/4", although with the wings bent fully back its opening becomes 1 1/2", and stretches to a little more than 2" across. It seems to be a pretty good design, and the larger size of the ring plus the inner wings help transmit the vibrations to the penis when it's being worn. We didn't try to fit it over the testicles along with the penis, and I think the ring isn't stretchy enough and is too firm to comfortably allow it, unless someone likes very firm pressure there. It could also be too firm when stretched to accommodate men with really large penises.




It's a little tricky to get the sleeve onto the bullet, and I followed the advice of another reviewer and rolled the sleeve back, put the bullet in and then rolled the sleeve up over it.





With the silicone sleeve added, the circumference is 5 1/4", but because this includes the "nubs", there is some give to it when pressure is added. With the measuring tape pulled tight and squishing down the nubs, its circumference is about 4 1/2" at the widest part.



The cord has a plug on the end opposite the toy, which plugs into the hard plastic control box. The cord is 33" long and was long enough to be adequate without getting in the way during sex and other play. The box mentions that the plug can be used universally with the other three toys in the series, with the benefit being that you can unplug one toy and switch to another using the same control box, although I'm not convinced that it's much of a benefit.

The whole toy with the cock ring on is a little over 4 1/2" from the end of the cock ring to the opposite end of the toy, excluding the cord and control box.

We found that the relatively large width of the toy in relation to its short length made it difficult to position it to transmit the vibrations exactly where we wanted them. It is a good toy for someone who wants diffuse vibrations throughout an area, rather than focused vibrations on the clit or any other small place. The thickness did allow it to put what I thought was a nice amount of pressure on my whole general clitoral area during missionary position lovemaking, which felt good but ultimately made me want to have more targeted vibrations on my clit than the toy could provide.

The control box takes two AA batteries (not included). It opens easily and stays securely closed. There is no seal around the battery compartment to make it waterproof.




The box has a button on the front that you push to turn it on, and when you do so, a yellow light comes on around the button to show that it's on.



There is a trigger-style button on the back of the controller, which you press and release to change the vibration pattern. There are ten patterns to choose from, and when you turn it on, the controller automatically starts on the last pattern it was on when turned off, which is a nice bonus if you prefer a certain pattern.


The patterns are:
1. Strong vibration
2. Medium vibration
3. Soft vibration
4. Escalating pulse vibration
5. Soft quick pulse vibration
6. Strong vibration, longer pulses
7. Strong vibration, quick pulses
8. Soft short bursts
9. Strong longer bursts
10. Softest quick pulses

Overall, the vibrations are medium in strength, and are rumbly at the lower levels and more buzzy at the higher settings. The silicone sleeve dulls them down quite a bit and makes it hard to focus them where you want them. When using the bullet alone without the sleeve, the vibes are stronger and easier to focus, but it's still sort of awkward because it's so wide and short. It is pretty quiet on the lower settings, a little louder on the higher settings, but wouldn't be heard outside a room on any setting.

With the sleeve on and put in place during intercourse, it felt surprisingly good before the vibrations were turned on, putting a nice pressure on my clitoral area because of the thickness of the toy and the silicone nubs. The vibrations feel pretty strong when I had the toy in my hand before putting it in place, but when in place during sex it felt less powerful than I expected. There wasn't a huge amount of difference between the functions during sex, except that the strong solid vibration was noticeably stronger than the others. I like strong, rumbly vibrations and because this toy is buzzy at the stronger settings, it didn't provide enough stimulation for me. I ended up using my hand to increase the pressure against my clit area, which made it adequate but still not targeted enough to be really great.

My husband said he could feel it during sex, but it wasn't strong enough to make much difference. It was nice to use on him during oral sex, on his testicals and perineum, and he said it felt especially nice on the exterior of his anal area.

I used it alone as a clitoral stimulator, holding the ring in my hand and pressing the bullet part against my clit, and it was okay but still not targeted enough for my taste. With the silicone sleeve removed it was a little better but still nothing special. I tried adding it to a vibrator to use as a rabbit but again because of its girth and short length it was just too difficult to focus those vibrations for it to be worth much effort in this way.

The description on the Edenfantasys website says this is waterproof. The bullet and silicone sleeve could possibly be waterproof, but the control box definitely is not. The retail box clearly says "do not immerse in water" and says nothing else about any part being waterproof, so I wouldn't chance it.


To clean it, I had to take the sleeve off the bullet. The silicone sleeve required a little extra work to clean between all those nubs. I did get the bullet wet when I washed it, but when I inspected the point where the cord goes into it, it didn't look watertight, so I tried to avoid too much wetness near the cord area. Then it all had to be put somewhere to dry before putting it away. All this extra work cleaning it makes it less likely to be the toy we grab very often. The sleeve doesn't seem to be much of a lint magnet.

The sleeve alone, removed from the bullet, is 100% silicone and could be sterilized by boiling it or running it through the dishwasher. The bullet can be wiped with rubbing alcohol to sterilize it, but the area where the cord is attached could probably still harbor germs.

After drying, it all fit back into its box nicely for storage, although the box is cardboard and won't hold up forever. This toy should be stored away from other silicone toys.

The toy comes in the standard California Exotics box. Inside was a sealed plastic bag containing the toy, and a brief instruction sheet. Adequate, but nothing special here.
