Cock rings have many uses. For one a lot of them are meant to help a man last longer during sex. With the addition of a vibrating bullet, a lot of cock rings also provide pleasure to a female partner. They're also a great choice for beginners to venture into the world of toys. Unfortunately, that's about all this is good for, since it doesn't pack much power and doesn't offer much restriction.

The bullet tucked inside the ring is a white plastic, and the ring itself and the part that envelops the bullet is TPR. There wasn't really any scent or anything to either of them. The material that makes up the ring is pretty stretchy. There is some drag to the TPR, and it's not a lint magnet either. There's a little bit of cushion from the TPR, but otherwise it's pretty lacking in the "plush" department.

This ring is really basic in design and intended to fit a wide variety of penises. The unstretched diameter is about 1", and it'll stretch to just over 2" in diameter. However, too much stretch and the ring will snap, which is what happened when I was testing the stretched diameter of mine. It comfortably fit my husband's 5 1/4" circumference penis, didn't feel like it was digging in at all but also didn't feel like it was restricting blood flow at all. The bullet portion is a total of 3/4" tall and isn't going to get in the way during sex. If you place this more at the base of the penis, you might have a harder time getting it to reach the clit during sex.

There are two things this ring is designed to do, and it doesn't do either particularly well. The first is to restrict blood flow to the penis during sex to help a man to last longer. This particular ring is too skinny to really allow for any good grip, so it's more like a decoration than something functional.

The second function is to provide vibrations to a clit during sex. After removing the tab that lets the battery make connection with the on/off switch on the side, you can turn it on or off. The switch is moved easily, but not so easily that it'll fall on its own. The packaging boasts 20+ minutes of vibration time, however in use we got about 10 minutes before it died. After letting it sit for a while, it did turn back on, but only lasted an additional minute or so. While the vibrations were going they were extremely quiet, but not very strong either. Enough to tickle the fingers or be an adequate finger vibe if you don't need strong vibrations, but not strong enough to be practical during sex.

Since this is a one time use item, you can simply throw it on out when you're done with it. If for whatever reason you want to keep it, you can clean it with a toy cleaning spray. The packaging recommends that you use only water based lube, but you should be fine to use a silicone based lube as well.

The packaging reminded me of a candy wrapper, or something that you'd see at the checkout and grab it thinking "oh what the heck, I'll try this." It's a little pouch that tears open, and has a window that lets you see the ring inside. You can tear open the top of the pouch and pull the ring right on out. It's not very discreet, since it does say "one shot of vibe power" and "power ring" all over the front and the back. The back does have something resembling instructions, as well as a warning to not keep the ring on for more than 30 minutes.

There's no reason you can't use this with a condom, however you'll want to make sure that it doesn't rest around the base of the condom since the increased friction could cause the condom to tear.

I won't lie, I wasn't expecting much with this ring and it delivered pretty much exactly what I was expecting from it. It wasn't necessarily any one specific thing that doomed it for me, it was a combination of a lot of things. It not being tight on my husband wasn't a big deal because a lot of rings aren't. The vibrations were strong enough that if I had been using it as a finger vibe I would probably have been able to finish, but during sex it just wasn't going to cut it. It was also difficult for us to get it to position very well since it is so small. It's nice that it doesn't get in the way, but the only way to really use it was to completely impale myself and do nothing but grind, and that's just not how I want my entire sex session to go.

Overall it'd be a fun gag gift or a way to find out if you like the idea of cock rings, but it just doesn't seem like a tremendously functional product.
