I love the Muvee because I think it can suit a range of needs. My boyfriend and I are fairly new to the world of sex toys but we decided to plunge in headfirst by getting a vibrating cock ring. I chose the Muvee because of its smooth, simple, and ergonomic design. Many vibrating rings out there (especially those within the same price range of the Muvee) have hard and rough-looking textures. In contrast, the Muvee's sleek lines seemed more in place with luxury vibrating rings. The Muvee also stood out because its bullet is held snugly within silicone extended fairly far from the ring itself. This ergonomic design makes it a good choice for more advanced couples. The vibrations are most intense when the bullet is pressed directly against my clitoris but, thanks to length the bullet is held at, even when my boyfriend chooses to thrust from further back I can still feel pleasing stimulation.

The Muvee can be used with or without condoms. If used with a condom the condom should be put on first. My boyfriend and I did not use a condom with the Muvee, but using a condom would not interfere with the Muvee at all. The box the Muvee comes in says to remove the bullet before washing the toy after use, therefore I don't think the Muvee should be used in the shower/bath/pool/etc.

The Muvee's package came with a shiny silver sticker on the front boasting "100% Platinum Silicone." It is also phthalates free. Silicone is one of the highest quality materials a sex toy can be made of. According to EdenFantasys' Material Guide it is a 10 on the safety scale, repels dirt and bacteria, and doesn't fall apart with extended friction. Silicone is also odorless and nonporous. I love the Muvee because it is so smooth. There is a small raised heart (the logo of FeelzToys, the maker of Muvee) on the front of the part that holds the bullet, but it is so minimal I believe it is mainly for aesthetics rather than to provide any extra stimulation.

To the touch the Muvee is slightly velvety. The packaging describes the Muvee as soft but I have to disagree. It is by no means rigid but I don't think soft is an appropriate way to describe it. It is definitely very flexible though. The piece that extends from the ring is very bendy and the ring itself is rather stretchy.

The bullet within the silicone covering is plastic and has a wavy texture, though this texture cannot really be felt when the bullet is within the covering.

I praised the Muvee earlier on for its ergonomic design, which is really one of its best features. The maker's website says, "The motor unit on this penis ring is positioned at a right angle to the ring to provide enhanced clitoral stimulation." It's actually less than a sharp 90 degrees but it does have a nice angle that perfectly aligns with the clitoris. The entire extension off the ring (including the bullet and silicone covering) is just under 2" and the bullet is 1.38". This design makes it so that the bullet and its vibrations can reach my clitoris even when my boyfriend is moving in and out a lot. This design allows for us to continue doing what we like-- sex would be terribly boring without movement. The only flaw with this design is that sometimes when the bullet slipped out of alignment with my clitoris it pressed against my labia, resulting in a slightly painful pinching feeling.

Its unstretched diameter is actually about 1.5" (not 1" like the main Muvee page on EF says) and it can stretch up to 2.5-3" depending on how comfortable you feel. The ring definitely wouldn't break when stretched up to 3" but it might feel uncomfortably tight. For this reason I think the ring works best solely on the shaft, not the shaft and testicles. The ring was really easy to slide onto the shaft with a bit of lube and we didn't try fitting it over his testicles because we didn't need to. He had no complaints about tightness, only that when we used it there was some uncomfortable friction (which can be solved with more lube next time).

As far as performance, the Muvee is great and we only ran into had a few problems. My boyfriend complained of friction caused by the ring on his shaft, and when the bullet occasionally slipped out of alignment I felt a pinching on my labia minora. However, both of these problems can definitely be solved by using more lube.

The Muvee's bullet is quite powerful, especially for its small size. I think the vibrations are about a 3.5/4 out of 5; they're not the strongest vibrations in the world but they were just right for me. It wasn't so intense that it was distracting or numbing but it was definitely very stimulating. As someone who has only ever climaxed from vibrations, the Muvee was perfect for me. I need relatively strong vibrations in order to get off-- my boyfriend humming against my clitoris feels nice but is never enough to get me there. Unless you're a real power queen, the Muvee should definitely work for you too.

There is a button on the bullet at the open end of the silicone covering that is pushed to turn the vibrator on and off. There is only one type of vibration-- just steady buzzing. It's fairly easy to turn on and off, and though it lacks a variety of vibration patterns you don't have to worry about cycling through them to turn it off.

The Muvee uses 2 watch batteries but I do not know how long these will last. I will try to keep record for my follow up review. The bullet twists open in the middle and the batteries are inserted fairly easily. (However the packaging features a battery replacement diagram that shows a part lifting to open which is untrue...)

The box instructs: "Clean the toy after every use but remove the vibration bullet first. Silicone is nonporous and can be easily washed with mild soap and water." I stupidly enough forgot to remove the bullet the first time I washed it but it still works perfectly fine though I would not recommend using the toy in a shower or bath, especially for an extended time. After we used it the toy was slightly sticky from the lube and smelled slightly like our good natural juices. I washed it with hand soap and warm water and the toy looked just as it did when it came out of the box and had no smell. Since the Muvee is a silicone toy, avoid using it with silicone-based lubes. However, the Muvee works great with any type of water-based lubricant. Since this is a fairly small toy it is easy to store, and since it is silicone it won't pick up dirt or bacteria. I plan on storing it in a small jewelry box but I'm sure it can be stored in any sensible place.

The Muvee's packaging is nice considering how simple it is. It comes in a pink cardboard box with a clear window in the front through which you can clearly see the Muvee. Within the box the Muvee is held with 2 twist ties to a piece of cardboard that is gray with light gray swirls. This box is nestled in a larger white box. It is a nice design but unrealistic for permanent storage of the Muvee, considering the pink box does not reseal at the top once opened, and while the cardboard looks nice it probably won't last.

The front of the box says "Muvee" with a subcaption reading "pure silicone vibrating ring." It then describes it as "soft, durable, hygienic, odorless, nonporous, anti-allergic, easy to clean, and phthalates free," all of which is true except maybe soft (I think flexible and smooth describe it better). On the side it reads "vibrating ring made of pure silicone," with the following bullet points: "ergonomically designed, new position of motor, and removable vibration bullet with exchangeable batteries." On the back it has details about wearing it with a condom and how to clean the toy. Both side and back descriptions are written in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch.

The packaging also features 2 diagrams. Both are inaccurate, at least compared to the model I received. The first diagram shows how to turn on the bullet-- it shows the on/off as an up/down switch, but in reality it is a button you press. The other diagram indicates that a part of the bullet is lifted to change the batteries but in reality the bullet twists apart to open it and replace the batteries.

I'd like to use this section for a quick shout out to EdenFantasys-- because I had trouble ordering online I ordered on the phone, which may have been one of the most awkward moments in my life, but the representative was so nice and understanding. Despite the Muvee's flaws, I still absolutely love it. I was nervous about how my boyfriend would react to using a vibrating ring because we've never used sex toys before and something like this can be a bit daunting. I was also afraid of hurting his ego, but he is very understanding that for some incredibly frustrating reason I can only ever get off from vibrating stimulation. The Muvee ended up being perfect for us because it doesn't interrupt our intimate moments (with the exception of occasional readjustment), it simply intensifies it for me. The vibrations and ring did not really affect my boyfriend's performance or endurance but it definitely made a huge difference for me. Since we've been together it has been our goal for me to orgasm with him inside me, and thanks to the Muvee, that dream finally came true.
