extremely useful review
I have been using sex toys for over thirty years now and have seen penis pumps advertised in magazines, then catalogs and, finally, on the internet. I have never used one until I got curious enough to try the Performance from Eden.

For years these devices have been sold as a cock enlarging device. That just doesn't work in reality. It will enlarge your member temporarily but to no long-lasting permanent results. These pumps are no longer being marketed as such but being billed as a sensitivity increasing device or as a help to those with some erection problems.

It comes nicely packaged in a blue box. I kept the box for storage since I have purchased a large toy box with a lock to store our sex toy collection. Assembly is easy. You attach the pump/hose to the top, put the cylinder into the TPE seal, and you are ready to go. There is a nice cock ring included. You put the cock ring on so the blood that is pumped into your penis will remain after you pump.

I used the cock ring and slipped myself into the pump. It was a little tight getting myself into the seal and into the tube. I was semi-erect and not rock hard, and it was a little uncomfortable. I backed out and applied some water-based lube and reinserted. That was much more comfortable. I grabbed the bulb pump and squeezed away. The suction was immediately felt, and blood was rushing to my penis. I couldn't describe the feeling as pleasurable, but at the same time, it was not uncomfortable. I did get engorged with blood. (You have to be careful and not pump too hard or leave the device on too long because you can break blood vessels)

I ran into problems when it was time to disengage myself from the tube. By the time I released the suction and extracted myself from the seal, which was kind of painful, I lost some of my erection. I was definitely more engorged with blood, and my sensitivity was increased. I probably just need more practice with the device to become more proficient.
Follow-up commentary
This is just not a toy for me. I don't particularly enjoy the blood being forced into my penis and the effects are very temporary. It wasn't very expensive so it was worth a try to cross it off my sex toy bucket list.

My husband has used pumps like this one before and had a similar experience. I wondered if the water pumps would be more enjoyable.?

Maybe, but it would be an expensive experiment.
