Radioactive Love

This is a good toy for beginners, but it lacks in a few areas. The low vibrations definitely add to slower grinding sex and girl on top. It does not do much for faster sex, and the low vibrations don't really add to the male's experience. Overall, this is a very decent cock ring for a couple who wants to try out a new toy for the bedroom.

The Glo Ring Radioactive Orange is a stretchy, food grade TPR cock ring accompanied by a velvety, plastic bullet by Topco. It's as the name implies: radioactively orange in color and even glows orange in the dark. It's a round ring measuring about three inches and is covered in little nubs. It has a nub-covered loop where the bullet is inserted. The little black bullet is a one speed bullet with a little a button on top that turns it off and on.

The packaging for the Glo Ring is a plastic container with printed wet board. It comes with three watch batteries to power the bullet which will last you quite some time. The packaging works okay for storage, but it might be better to find another box or lint-free bag. The Glo Ring picks up a lot of lint and hair, so you will want to store it well.

The Glo Ring is made of TPR which is a soft stretchy plastic. It's somewhat porous, so it cannot be fully sterilized. If you are using this ring with one partner, you cannot safely use it with another, and it would be better to get a new one as you do not put condoms over cock rings. To clean it between uses, it can be washed off with warm water. The Glo Ring picks up a lot of hair and other similar things, so you will probably want to wash it before and after. The bullet is plastic and can be cleaned the same way as the rest of the ring. Both silicone and water-based lubes can be used with the Glo Ring.

The Glo Ring is a bright orange ring with nubs all around it for the girl and a smooth side for the boy. The nubs on the loop where the bullet is kept is where the strongest sensation come from, but the vibrations travel fairly well throughout the entire toy. The controls are very easy to use; there's just an on off button on top of the toy. It's one speed and that speed is fairly unimpressive.

The Glo ring is great for beginners because it's so stretchy, but if you're looking for a heightened sensitivity for the male, you should be looking for another ring. My partner said he could feel some vibrations, and it was quite comfortable to wear, but it did not really add much for him. Even though the opening in the middle appears tiny, this ring does not have the normal blood constriction that cock rings are traditionally supposed to have. This is a very good thing if the guy is worried about the blood constriction being too much. I can stick my fist into it without feeling discomfort from constriction. It does, however, offer some blood constriction and should, under no circumstances, be worn for long periods of time.

From the female perspective, this ring has most effect when you are pressed against it. This means that slower, more grinding-type sex and girl on top have the most effective use of the vibrations. The bullet is not strong enough to transfer the vibrations beyond the ring itself. It heats up to body temperature quickly, so there will not be awkward cold anywhere on you.

Overall, the Glo Ring is a decent cock ring that is quite fun to look at and very easy to use. It's great for beginners and can help you get over the hump into more advanced cock rings. It isn't worth your money if you're looking for something with very strong vibrations or something that will constrict blood flow.

So cool that it glows in the dark, to bad it did not have stronger vibes.

I can't get either guy to give this a try...I think it's the name 'radioactive' ot it could be the day-glo orange.

    Thank you for the review.

However, a lot of "beginners" like and deserve good quality toys with strong vibrations. Some of us didn't even discover sex toys until we were well experienced in sex and needed strong vibrations and many women start using toys because they have a high orgasmic threshold. Not all beginners want or need weak toys.
