7 stimulator rings - penis sleeve by Doc Johnson - review by Bulma

I purchased the Beaded penis sleeve|Beaded penis sleeve by Doc Johnson recently, and was quite happy with it. I had requested to review this set of 7 stimulating sleeves|7 stimulator rings before I bought the beaded penis sleeve. So when I was notified these had shipped, I already knew that I would love them. I do have a little bit of a reservation as to the material these are made out of. Edenfantasys lists it as being TPR Silicone, and that is what it smells and feels like from my experience with toys thus far. However… the box lists them as “Jel.” TPR Silicone is close to Jelly in feel but has a much less noticeable scent, so I am thinking that “Jel” is the word they use to describe the material even though it is made from TPR Silicone.

I mentioned that my husband and I are getting into this whole “penis sleeve” craze. Well, this kit of 7 sleeves includes just about every type of stimulator that is possible in a sleeve. There is one larger sleeve and six smaller sleeves. I found the larger sleeve to provide the most sensation as the nubs on it are large and rather firm while still maintaining softness and comfort. In addition to the nubs, there are ticklers circling around the openings on either end. I can’t say that I really noticed these though because of the more noticeable sensation of the nubs. It is thicker and provides firmer pressure to the penis than the six smaller sleeves do.

Of the six sleeves there is one with ridges, with nubs, with triangle nubs, with ticklers, with ridges and ticklers, and with nubs and ticklers. These smaller sleeves are quite thin and very stretchy, so they are easy to put on and take off. These should fit any size man quite well. They fit on my husband’s finger (a little too big to stay on one of my fingers) as well as work great on a larger bullet or egg style vibe. On the other end of the spectrum, they will also fit around my fist quite comfortably.

I love the different sensations provided by these sleeves. While the differences between the sleeves aren’t huge (excluding the larger sleeve of course) it is enough to be noticeable. I can’t really describe what the different sensations are like, just that they enhance penetration (and massage!) a little differently from each other. I found the ticklers to provide a more subtle sensation than the nubs did, while the one with ridges was the least noticeable of all.

These are perfect for enhancing intercourse or masturbation as they fit dildos and vibrators as well as a penis. I would caution, however, to use a condom between these and a silicone or silicone composite toy as there is risk of them melting together. On the same note; I would suggest avoiding silicone lube for the same reasons. I love to use the smaller ones on my large bullet vibrators. It provides some added sensation as well as makes them easier to hang onto. They also work well stretched over a couple fingers to enhance fingering and clit and labia massage.

Cleaning is easy with these. I usually use my Before and After Toy Cleaner to clean up my toys, but because of the size I just rub these up with mild soap in the sink. I let them air dry as they tend to attract lint and pet hair as well as fuzzies from towels. I kept the original box to store them in as it keeps them all separated and in one place.

My husband loves these sleeves just as much as I do. They provide pressure to his penis enhancing the sensation for him, while remaining comfortable. You can place them on the penis wherever you would like (for example near the base, near the head, or anywhere in-between). They cover from 1 to 3 inches in length depending on how far you stretch them down the shaft. My husband prefers to wear them at the base of the penis to help restrict blood flow similar to what a cock ring would. We found that it works best to put the sleeves on a fully erect penis with no lube. Once it’s on lubing up the entire shaft helps penetration without the sleeves rolling or slipping.

If premature ejaculation is a problem then don’t count on these sleeves helping with that much. My husband actually found the added pressure and sensitivity to increase his likelihood to ejaculate early. He has used a topical gel with these (the Not Yet gel|Not yet gel, also by Doc Johnson) and it seems to work well. However the sensation I receive is such that most of the time we end up finishing together even when the actual act of intercourse only lasts 2 minutes (with some good foreplay or course).

As a last note, these sleeves are best put on right before penetration. Like anything that restricts blood flow to the penis, these should not be left on longer than 20 minutes or you could risk permanent damage to the penis. You can always take it off and allow for a short break before putting one back on if need (or desire) be. We have never used one on his penis for longer than 15 minutes at a time because neither of us can last that long.

I would highly recommend these sleeves to anyone who enjoys sex with a penis, dildo, fingers, or vibe, or who is the owner of a penis.
