I have never tried any of the prolonging/numbing sprays or creams before, so I went to it with no prejudice. However, the spray most certainly does what the description says, as long as you follow the instructions. I don't have a problem with maintaining my erection, or getting off too quickly, but I thought it would be fun to see how long I really could go with a little extra help. After well over an hour of all sorts of positions, I was still going strong with no problems at all.
The feel of the spray is difficult to describe because it is basically like water. It has a slight oily property to it, but it is surely not a lubricant. It comes out of the spray nozzle in a sort of powerful spritz and stays on whatever surface you spray it on to reasonably well. It doesn't dry very quickly, particularly if you use enough, but I'm not sure that it really needs to dry up to be effective. There is no residue left over after use, and clean up is as simple as water and a towel or any body wipe.
There is practically no noticeable smell to Power+Spray, and there really shouldn't be. As far as taste, my wife reported that it might have had a faint metallic flavor, but it wasn't anything particularly offensive. The benzocaine in the spray is meant to numb the penis, and is not meant to be ingested. Also, if it isn't totally absorbed, or all rubbed off, you could end up with some numbing in your mouth. So the moral is, just use the spray to have crazy long sex sessions, and leave the oral for some other time.
The spray lasted at least 45 minutes to an hour before I felt the effect wearing off even slightly. Don't be fooled, the spray isn't some magic potion that eliminates all sensation in your penis, but it does dial back the sensitivity about 25 or 30%. That small reduction is enough to keep me from climaxing for quite some time. I followed the directions to the letter. You must spray the product on, wait at least 10 minutes (15 is probably better) and then proceed. If you don't wait long enough, the benzocaine will not have time to take effect, and will get washed off to other places. The last thing I wanted to do was numb my wife's vagina or clitoris. I think it works great, and if timing permits, will use it from time to time just to push our sex on to the next level. I haven't had any problems with my wife numbing nor with any irritation, and she loves it too.
