The book "269 Amazing Sex Tips and Tricks for Women|269 Amazing Sex Tips & Tricks for Women" is a great book if you are a virgin with no idea what you are doing, or are looking for a handy catalog of what toys to buy or websites to visit. If you are married or in a long-term relationship and looking for some fun ideas to spice things up in the bedroom, you will find this book very deceptive.

To say there are even 269 tips and tricks in this book is a bit of a joke. Many of the "tips" are duplicated several times with either a wording change, or with such negligible difference that calling them new is a real stretch. Not to mention that the majority of the advice involves props or toys (with websites conveniently offered) that require additional purchases to truly use all the suggestions, in which case it becomes mostly common sense.

I also noted that several "tricks" involve performing acts upon your partner that, in my opinion, you should probably discuss before trying. . . something the book doesn't mention. I personally think you should discuss it before shoving items in your partner's rear, however the authors don't seem to think that is important.

Now, I know this review seems negative, and it pretty much is, but for what the book claims to provide I'm just not seeing it. If you feel that advice like " . . . two glasses of wine loosen inhibitions. . ."; such sage advice as "Vary your lovemaking techniques"; and "Rent an X-rated video from the top shelf" is valuable, then you'll find this a very handy guidebook, ladies.

In my honest opinion, if you have done all the exploring and adventuring in bed as possible with your partner then this book has absolutely nothing to offer beyond perhaps a handful of comments. The internet or other books will provide a lot better and wider assortment of content. If you are going to spend $10.95 on something to increase you sex life, go check out the toys. . . money much better spent.

Those sample pics also make this book look kind of dated. Good review!

If I paid $11 for advice like "have some wine," I know I'd be ticked!  Thanks for the warning!

Wow, talking to a partner before putting things up their ass is definitely a must.  I am surprised that the book didn't mention something so important.

Oh wow. That book seems depressingly useless.

"also noted that several "tricks" involve performing acts upon your partner that, in my opinion, you should probably discuss before trying. " Could you give an example?
