Lesbian sex 101 - book discontinued by Hylas Publishing - review by joaniedark

Lesbian Sex 101 is a rather lovely little thing, and I am very happy to have bought it. 101 beautiful pictures are displayed on its pages, each with description of the actions, to stimulate the mind and the bedroom with many potential poses. It’s presented in a tasteful manner that is friendly to people new to their sexuality. The pictures show attractive, genuinely happy women enjoying themselves, which translates to a far better experience for the reader of the book. There are two annoying points to the book though. The positions, after a while, seem to start looking very similar, so much in fact I would not consider all of them different positions, thus reducing the number to around 85 or something similar. Also, the wording uses many euphemisms. Many people would like this approach, I’m sure, but I would prefer a far more straightforward approach, simply saying “this goes here and then one does this” rather than adding all of the gloss they insert into the captions. We do not need that many words for vagina. Still, it is a beautiful, enjoyable book, and the little problems can be easily ignored by simply not over thinking the picture book.

Smaller than I had expected, so easy to put in a bag. Well made and laid out.

Though sometimes you start wondering if #xx isn't just another picture of #yy and I want to strangle whoever wrote the descriptions, I recommend this book to anyone if for nothing more than an art book.
