A good read!

Overall this was a good, fun read I would recommend to both men and women, whether you plan on "going down" on a woman or not. The book has several "Oh, I didn't realize that" moments for me. And men, if your woman just happens to see you reading this book -- brownie points!
Published:
Pros

Cons
Very alluring cover (can't read the book in public.) Some points seem to repeat themselves.

"The Best Oral sex ever - His guide to Going Down" by Yvonne K. Fulbright, was overall a good read, and informative as well. This columnist and author has written several books on the subject of sex, and takes a straightforward non "campy" approach to oral sex -- oral sex on women, to be exact. She begins with a chapter on oral sex in general and why we as people enjoy it, and particularly, how it relates to a woman.

Chapter 2 gets into a "road-map" of not only a woman's genitals and hot spots, but how she experiences orgasm as well, very different from a man. While I knew that, apparently I didn't "know that." I found this bit to be very insightful. The next chapter gets right into the fun bits of different positions for oral sex, while of course focusing on mouth on vagina, there were a few mentions of mutual stimulation as well. Now chapter 4 rewinds things a bit and gets into "Foreplay for Oral Sex," ironically, the name of the chapter. This chapter was not focusing on just oral sex, but on sex as a whole experience, I think. As a man, it is easy to forget that the approach a woman takes to sex is really different from men, and that woman need a good bit more "warming up" than we do.

The next 3 chapters cover specific techniques, enhancements, even "sacred" approaches practiced by the Kama Sutra. She really goes into details on what to do with your hands, mouth as well as timing, teasing, heck, and even breathing. A lot of good and juicy details here (pun intended.) The three chapters after (8,9,10) get a bit more psychological. Fulbright covers a plethora of topics ranging from any actual issues some women may have with the act oral sex itself (I had no idea), from being comfortable with her own body & genitals, actually "owning" the pleasure of sex and orgasm, and of course the other "oral" thing: communication.

The final chapter, called "Maximizing Her Orgasmic Potential" goes into a nice summary of female orgasms, the type of orgasms, how some woman are multiply orgasmic, incorporating the anus, and more. It kinda seemed like an "Oh by the way," full of little details that could have been included in other chapters. And the brief conclusion talks about sharing the wealth, so to speak, and that oral sex is good for both parties. With a glossary, resources and index to boot.
