SuicideGirls - erotic book by Feral House - review by Kayla Upside Down

I love Suicide Girls; they are all beautiful women, and I enjoy looking at something that isn't a stereotypical model. However, the book itself was nothing spectacular. For the most part, I felt the pictures were relatively bland-kind of like "Oh look, it’s a naked chic..." Nothing to make me want to say it was a page turner. I expected more, perhaps because on the website the girls are shown in a much more creative and artistic light. I felt that the picture placement was simple. Suicide Girls are creative and fun, why is this book so bland? Many of the scenes and poses are similar and there doesn't seem to be much diversity in the style or overall appearance of the shots. And for the price of the book, I'd rather pay for the membership where I can see more...

The book is great if you are just looking to see naked rocker/indie/pierced girls, but if you think you are actually going to learn anything about them or see creative artwork, you won’t. The bio’s are short and hardly detailing about the girls. The showcased girls could also have been more diverse in body type. If I wanted to see the same build "sexy" model, I'd pick up a Playboy. Where are my bigger girls!! You can't showcase different and diverse without actually incorporating them in your book!!!

Now to the good news, which isn't much. Overall the book quality is nice, other than the picture sizes, which I felt could be bigger. The book is highly colorful and the quality of the photos themselves is top notch. If you are simply interested in this book as an eye-candy piece then sure, I am sure it will aid you but don't buy it with the intention that it's a piece of art...it isn't.
