Dark Angels, the Special Collector's Edition DVD set, is one of the best porn films that I've watched.

If you are into porn that actually has a plot and storyline and not just non-stop back-to-back sex then this is a movie for you, especially if you are a vampire or paranormal fan (like me).

I was expecting cheesy vampire costumes and everything, but was so pleasantly surprised at the fang-tastic costumes, makeup and special effects. Some of the stuff was right up there with big budget flicks...or at least a really good B movie.

The actors were pretty hot--scary Goth looking chicks turned vampires, hot guys with big cocks...The sex scenes were yummy, nothing spectacular or weird just mainly guy on girl, girl on guy, girl on girl action, lots of good oral, no double penetration or kinky anal (darn) just a bit of lesbo anal kink but nothing too wild (again darn, LOL).

There was this one scene in the morgue...dead girls with big boobs were in the background while the one dead girl (main character) came back to life as a vampire and seduced the medical examiner then they had wild sex. I kept waiting for the other dead chicks to get up and get involved or at the beginning of the scene I expected the ME to go all necrophiliac and start fondling the beautiful breasts in front of him. Sue me, I was expecting off the wall kink with morbid undertones. What do you expect from a paranormal erotica author?

Sydnee Steele plays the evil vampire queen, Jewel DE'Nyle the innocent girl turned vampire, and Dillon Day plays the detective who becomes the hero of the story. The one thing I didn't like was the not so happy ending. Instead of being a romance the story became a tragedy and the main character and the hero never even got to hook up. Bummer, I wanted to see those two get wild and freaky. Oh well, in the end evil was vanquished and the detective went on to deal with more bad guys.

A really cool thing about this collector's edition DVD set is that it is a two DVD set. One DVD is the feature and the other is special features that include stills, previews and trailers for other movies, behind the scenes close ups for Dark Angels, documentary style commentary and looks at the special effects and more.

This is a great set. I've had my eye on it for quite some time now. I watched plenty of soft porn vampire movies, you know the kind on cable, and most are cheesy. I watched the high budget flicks but they lack the overt sexual content that really needs to be addressed sometimes because of the erotic nature of the vampire, but this was my first XXX vampire feature. I was expected terrible acting and dumb costumes but it was actually pretty good. Dark Angels is a must have for the porn collector or vampire fan.

I received this movie right before Halloween, perfect timing. Halloween night the hubby and I cracked open a bottle of Vampire wine (yes, that's the actual brand name, it is even bottled in Transylvania) and settled down to watch this movie. It was a perfect addition to our sexy Halloween evening.
