I’m usually one hundred years behind on what is hip. However, I’ve been a fan of Nerve.com since the beginning, thanks to a much cooler friend, and was really excited to see this coffee table book when it was released. Nerve combines hot girls, humor and thoughtful blogging and definitely deserves a bookmark on your computer.

I wasn’t sure how the site would translate to a book, but by combining their best articles of the last decade with sexy pictures, they’ve created a great ode to a groundbreaking site. If you aren’t familiar with Nerve.com, this is a great introduction to it. If you’re a fan already, it’s really a must have item!

One thing this collection has on the site for me is the collection of photography. I mean, the internet is great for accessing a seemingly endless amount of sexy images, but there’s something about holding a book full of them that really does it for me. This book is perfect for those of you who like to leave something a little risqué on the coffee table, but won’t be embarrassing when you’re parents show up unexpected!

On top of tons of hot pics, the editor has done a really great job of selecting an eclectic mix of interesting writing to represent the last decade of work the folks at Nerve.com have done. You’ll find essays by pop culture icons and celebrated authors that are hilarious, insightful and even sex advice from Republican activists. This one really has it all.

If you’re a fan of Nerve, you’ll definitely want to check this fantastic collection out as soon as possible. It would also be a really great gift for the friend who’s hard to buy for. Unless, of course, they have something against awesome books packed full of sexy ladies.
