To be honest, this is the first work created by the pen of Laura Corn that I got my hands on. According to my informations, she never planned to write this book at all, it was simply an unexpected coincidence.
After publishing hundreds of seduction books for couples, some of which focused on romance, some explored hotter sex, some were designed to improve communication and intimacy, she decided to go on an around the world vacation with her husband Jeff.
The first stop was Europe; France, Italy, England, etc. She did expect to experience and learn lots of new things but never about seduction. As odd as it is, it happened. She found that everywhere she went couples had very different ways to add spice to their relationship. Some of these sexy practices sprang from local culture, some seemed to be accidents of history and many were just fun bedroom tricks she had never heard of. Eventually, the whole vacation grew into a research project and this is where all of these seduction techniques and interesting, exciting ideas to spice up your sex life came from.
After reading this book, personally I think the author made a really thorough job exploring the world in this aspect and asking these couples or individuals about their sex life, because there are many very peculiar, unique and amazing ideas and stories we can read about in Passport to Pleasure. I especially love Laura Corn’ s personality, as well as her excitement and enthusiasm throughout the book, she obviously found this experience thrilling and enjoyed writing this book as much as I loved reading it.

I like to be very critical when it comes to evaluating something, but except minor things regarding the design explained in the next part there is really nothing negative I can say about this book. As I mentioned before briefly, I am amazed by the author’s writing style. Apparently, Laura Corn is a woman with bright and fun-loving personality. Although, I do not know her in real life but behind every sentence in her book there is something that tells you that. She does not just write these ideas and stories down as they were told, she adds her own entertaining style. I especially love that she dares to tell you her personal straightaway opinion about certain things and it is also full of her fun comments and observations. Reading this book itself turned out to be a great experience.
It is dedicated to couples, therefore it contains 26 seductions for women and the same number of seductions for men. Each of them can be folded over and closed so after flipping through them and choosing one, neither of you will know what the other is reading and planning. The audience this book is geared towards is basically any couple who would like to enjoy new exciting seductions from each other and also the growing sense of anticipation, meaning, you will both know that you can expect something from each other, the only question is when and what.
Nevertheless, in my personal opinion it is not exclusively for couples to play with. I do not share the book with my partner either. I just read it and pick the ideas from the stories I like to occasionally surprise her. So I think reading this book can be inspiring to anyone.
Each seduction is linked to an area, city or a country. They are all based on habits and tales of couples or individuals living in that country or having that particular experience when they were there. Sometimes it is just a simple erotic trick with honey and a piece of feather for example, but sometimes it can be really challanging to carry out. The common things in each of them: playfullness and breathtaking orgasms. As of most seduction books, the purpose of this one is also to oust predictability, a concern that eventually most couples face.

It’s time for me to explain what caused me great annoyance regarding the sealed pages. As I have mentioned, each seduction is folded over and sealed shut, like an envelope. In order to be able to fold them out, you have to tear the upper page out, along the perforation. I consider myself as a man with good technical skills but I still could not manage to open many without accidently ripping the paper where it should not have been ripped. To put it simply, the perforation cannot perform its function perfectly. That was my one and only problem with this product.
On the outer/upper page of the folded seductions you can find the name of the country that the story is linked with, the title of the seduction as a little clue, an indication whether it is intended for her or his eyes only and symbols narrowing things down a bit. (for example a sun symbol, meaning that you are going outside, or a car symbol meaning you’ll need a car, etc.)
Inside, at the top you can find an ingredient list, things you will need in order to be able to carry out the surprise. Then there is the story and at the end there are some interesting sexy facts regarding the country or the people living in the country that the story is linked to.
The paper is medium quality, so not that silky nor the very coarse one. The illustrations are grayscaled, the text is black.

There are several things I already tried using the ideas from this book. Some of them needed to be altered, because I found them too hard or expensive to do, but they still went pretty well and turned out to be as nice, romantic and playful surprises. Most of them are okay in the exact way as they are described.
I like this book, I had many wonderful moments with my love that I could have never thought of without it.
