Written by award winning author and Huffington Post blogger Stefanie Iris Weiss, “Eco-Sex” is a book that goes way beyond the simple title. This book details all the ways to minimize your carbon footprint when it comes to your love life. Small in size (5” x 4”), the 216 pages are packed with information on living a greener lifestyle when it comes to sex.

There are 11 chapters, and their titles help to summarize the direction of the book. The titles are:

Chapter 1: Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Eco-regulation But Were Afraid to Ask
Chapter 2: Eco-Gorgeousness: Much More Than Skin Deep
Chapter 3: Eco-Fashion: What to Wear Until Your Clothes Come Off
Chapter 4: Eco-Licious Aphrodisiac Foods: The Cream of the Crop
Chapter 5: Are Diamonds Really a Girl's Best Friend?
Chapter 6: Sexual Healing: Big Pharma vs Your Big O: How Naturally Healthy Lovers Ditch the Little Blue Pill in Favor of Green
Chapter 7: Make Eco-Sex Safe Sex
Chapter 8: Looking for Mr. Good Planet: How to Find and Keep Carbon Neutral Love
Chapter 9: Eco Babes in Toyland; Green Playthings for the Bedroom
Chapter 10: Bed Bath and Way Beyond; Eco-Sexing Your Boudoir
Chapter 11: The Eco Parenting Movement: Now That You're Plus One You'd Better Make Green Your Mantra

The 11 chapters are categorized into 3 sections, which are:
1. Courtship 2. Sex 3. Adventure

The sections and chapters are organized in a way that makes the book quick and easy to read and understand. Weiss’s knowledge and studies of Eco-friendly living are apparent as she details ways to positively impact the environment without compromising, and even enhancing, your love life. Helping readers to take the first step, Weiss provides a third-party resource list of products mentioned. Unfortunately there are no photos, which would have been helpful with some of the products.
Follow-up commentary
My feelings about this book are still pretty neutral. I passed this book on to several friends, letting them know not to be fooled by the title. Each one seemed to agree that, while it was intersting, it was a little too packed with information on living an extreme green lifestyle rather than just about sex.

This seems interesting. Too bad it wasn't more sex-centric! Did they mention things like sex toy recycling programs?
