This book is no joke. It is the ultimate guide in not only oral sex on women, but also on some minor care and keeping of said pussy. I saw the package as I was heading up the stairs and gleefully clapped like a school child. I went through the book in a matter of hours. Not because of lack of content, but because I was enthralled with the information and the writing style.

Violet Blue has a wonderful style of writing that sounds more like chatting with her while munching on lemon poppy seed muffins. Mmm, muffins. Oh! The review. It must go on. A warning: There are erotic short-stories at the end of every section. This might deter/annoy/excite you. Visual learners be warned: There are no step-by-step visualizations on the tips. It's all written, baby.

So the book has a good flow to it, but it's easy to see the compartmentalization of the sections if you look closely. First, Violet Blue starts with getting over our stigmas about our vaginas. I'll say our, because I'm still anatomically female. That and I've grown to love my pussy even if I feel male. It's cute. I named her Pepper. Anyhow, she really goes deep into our thoughts on how society dictates what we should think about our pussies, and it's really negative.

In the same chapter, she talks about how some people really like to give head to women, and how we too can overcome our shame in that. It also talks about how to handle reluctant receivers, and trying to explain that you actually like giving head. Blue tells us to be familiar with our vaginas. So ladies, get down there! Look at it, get over the myths of "It looks weird" or "It has an icky color", test it out!

The next few chapters go over the anatomy and safety concerns. One thing that I am so happy for, that this is the first mainstream book that has an EXACT anatomy of the clitoris, not just an arrow pointing at the head of the clitoris peaking out of the hood like that's it. It details the wishbone figuring of the clitoris and its nerves. I think that earned the five star rating in itself!

It's a shame how few books accurately explain the vagina, it's a severe disservice to women and their empowerment. The STD and safer sex practices section isn't lecture-y at all, which is nice. I've probably heard, read, spoken the speech a thousand times and I wasn't put off by reading it again with Blue's upbeat and friendly tone.

The next section covers all the good stuff; the tricks! Things from pressure points, positions, rimming, massage and intense foreplay are involved. My favorite piece was when she discusses oral sex and disability; she did it with some compassion and understanding that it wasn't at all cut and dry. The fact she also mentioned it was huge. Not many people think of disabled people (mentally, physically, or pathological) being sexual, and that's an ableist perception. Way to go, Violet!

Well, that's it for now! Do her techniques work? Can Dani use some of the advice of finagling his own leg disability to get some oral lovin'? We'll find out at my follow-up review!
Experience
This book was really a delight, to read and to anticipate its arrival. I originally bought this to brush up because I've had mostly male partners since actively being called he and since Griff and I are both FTMs, I bought it with him in mind. I actually got some tips for myself in there as well! I can't wait to work on the tricks and techniques.
Follow-up commentary
I actually gifted it to a friend for their birthday because I liked it so much! I think it'd do her wonders, and I know she appreciated it as well.
