Part of the metal web...

Worth it for the artwork, but don't mistake a comic book for literature. Overall though, an entertaining read and very nice to look at.

Content / Style / Audience

This book is geared toward the science fiction/extreme kink population, interested in non-human interaction and complicated political intrigue. This is not straight-up erotica, so for that sort of story look elsewhere.

Design

The quality and material of the book is outstanding - it's a large size, with quality glossy paper and a strong cover and binding.

Personal comments

While filled with brilliant artwork, I have to forewarn any readers not familiar with this book (as I wasn't) that it is a part of a series. This means there is not one complete plot in the story. I was disappointed at being thrust into the story midway, and not getting any sort of conclusion at the end. The dialogue is acceptable though not exceptional. The plot is convoluted and seems interesting, though this one book only offers a tiny portion of the larger story. The real selling point is the drawing which was, I will gladly repeat, absolutely brilliant. It was complex, detailed, and wonderfully creative.

This is a very short and vague review. Could you try to introduce us to some of the plot ideas there are and perhaps why they don't work?
