Playgirl Indulging in Lust - erotic video by Playgirl TV - review by R.

It's always fun to pick out a DVD that you think both you and your partner will enjoy. Indulging in Lust seemed to be that perfect combination based on the cover and description; however, it left something to be desired.

One of the film's strengths was the sound quality. It does have the right mixture of music and narration, and most of the voice-overs match with the female characters, which is surprisingly rare in most films like this. The narration is sexy and believable, notably for the Piano Man scene. The final scene has no narration--just music; this one also happens to be the one that I personally found to be the hottest. It features an attractive couple in a cozy atmosphere with just the right amount of romance to spark your imagination.

My wife and I viewed the DVD together and enjoyed it as a couple’s experience, but it would be equally good as solo stimulation for women or even men. I tend to be very picky about the quality of sex DVDs, and find that with most Playgirl videos, there is too much raw sex and not enough setting of the scene or, as I like it, romance. When you sit down to watch a porno, generally you're expecting to just find sex, but usually Playgirl has a bit of erotica to go with it.

This video does deliver in that regard. Each scene is carefully set up and has a specific theme--a 1920’s bar, an island-like oasis, a sexy shower scene, an evening at home by the fire. While the themes and music are there, the chemistry between some of the actors is not quite as strong as it could be. In a few of the scenes, you look at the couple and just think, "Really?" Not in a thousand years would most of these couples be paired up in real life.

The biggest problem that I found was that the video claims to be produced in 2008, but in reality, it is a video compilation of scenes shot back around 2004. So the digital quality of the video is not nearly as high as I’d expected. The cover and the year make it look as though it is shot in high definition, but in reality, most of the videos are very dated.

The DVD did redeem itself with having that one hot scene at the end though: two attractive people, passion, and quality. Because of that last scene, I give this DVD 3 stars instead of 1.5.
