If you use the Kama Sutra itself as a sex toy, you may need the Kama Sutra Game. My partner and I flip through the pages of the Kama Sutra, randomly sticking a finger into the whirling pages to determine our next position, so the Kama Sutra Game seemed perfect for us, taking our process and streamlining it into a board game.

Obviously, the main selling point for us was the sexual position cards (and our deep infatuation with sex games). The sexual position cards offered a good sampling of diverse positions, ranging from easy to difficult. The game was also set up so that the position cards were collected to be used at the end—or “Ecstasy”—making the entire game foreplay, then spicing up the consummation.

The Kama Sutra Game truly appealed to my tactile nature and sensitivity. So many spaces and cards commanded tight embraces, sweet caresses, passionate kisses, playful bites. As my partner obeyed his rolls, he ravaged my nerves. My entire body was tingling and throbbing as we played. I was completely stimulated and soaked in anticipation. I came blindingly hard when he instructed me how to pleasure myself on one roll and then again when he orally delighted me on one card.

The Kama Sutra Game was the ultimate foreplay, at least for me. Every inch of my body was included in the seduction; I touched all of him. The pace was made sweetly slow, and I could savor every touch and caress. No part of me was neglected in the excitement and pursuit of sex. Instead, each roll or card was just about that act in itself. The sensations were truly amazing for me.

However, my partner and I knew each other a little too well and had been having open, communicative sex for too long for nearly all of the intimacy questions. When I read something like “If you were to pleasure me better than you have pleasured me before, what would be different?...Are you willing?” off the board, we both simply looked at each other laughing. We already knew the answers. And some of the questions were too cheesy for the tone of our relationship.

But for a couple who is not so broken in or not so open, the questions in the Kama Sutra Game could provide more mental and emotional intimacy to accompany the sexual. The questions reveal aspects of your partner’s sexuality and perspective on sex with you. They truly do work towards furthering complete closeness.
