Leave Your Inhibitions at the Door

This is simply a non-exciting game for us, however it has the potential to easily excite the right group of people.

Pros
Simple instructions, decently entertaining.
Cons
Too much packaging, some cards too personal or confusing.

Our first impression... Well, let's just say it was not a positive one. To start, there was just too much packaging for the small amount of game materials included inside. Also, instead of simply having truth or dare cards, the makers of the game decided to throw in a "pass along" card option to make the game seem a little more complex. In our opinion, these cards could have definitely been eliminated all together. After playing the game a couple times with friends, we still don't understand the real point behind these cards. Why not just pass your turn and deal with the shame that your friends decide to pile on you afterward? Does there really need to be a card to mark the passing of a turn? In the end, not one person had used their "pass along" cards to skip a turn. It would have been nice to see more truth and dare cards instead.

The game states that it was "created to entertain 4 or more players," but we would personally suggest playing with a minimum of 6. More players = more fun.

We'd also recommend forgetting all your inhibitions if you want to enjoy this game. If you aren't comfortable enough to be honest about yourself or to make a complete fool of yourself in front of others, this game is unlikely to be much fun for you.

A majority of the cards are fun and crudely entertaining things that most people would like to see their friends or significant others do. However, there were more than a handful of cards (most of them from the dare pile) that we could probably do without in the deck. One such card directs the player to "demonstrate how to put on a condom using a phallic object, like a banana." This is a complete waste of a condom, a banana and a card! Another card requests that you "act our your most embarrassing moment." When it came down to this card, not one person could think of their most embarrassing moment, let alone wanted to take time out of the game to act out and relive that moment in front of a group of people. Yet another wasted piece of glossy card stock... Other cards we would most likely retire from this game ask for outlandish things such as marriage proposals or artistic renderings of private parts.

Our only problem with the truth cards was that a good amount of them had not only the potential to kill the mood of the game, but also the potential to hurt relationships.

This game is not a complete waste though. About 3/4 of the deck kept us and our friends laughing, blushing and even stripping in closets on occasion during the few hours we spent playing. We'll most likely toss the cards we don't like, or maybe make them into a few of our own but either way we'll still keep, play and love this game.
