If you live with others and are allowed to put an eyelet in the ceiling, you can still use this discreetly by unclipping the swing after each use. All the items come packaged in a large, glossy, white cardboard box. It has multiple pictures of scantily clad couples using the swing, so it is far from discreet. Open this box and there is another, plainer cardboard box. This is the box that has the plastic handle. The plainer box has all the items inside. The packaging can be used for storage, but it is not discreet and is cumbersome. If traveling, it is best to put the swing in a gym or camping bag.

A page of instruction are included. It includes safety warnings and information on installation.

Installation
All major components for installation are included. If installing in your doorframe, you're good to go with a hammer (or a drill). Do note that you will have less room and maneuverability for positions if you install in the doorframe. Also, be sure to place the eyelet so that you will be able to close the door. If installing in the ceiling, you will need a stud finder, which can be bought at any home improvement store. This will allow you to find a support beam that will hold you, your partner, and the swing.

To install, mark your desired location with a pen or marker. Then turn the eyelet screw into the spot using the hammer, elbow grease, the claw of a hammer, or a combination of the three. Screw the eyelet in until the threads can no longer be seen. NOTE: never unscrew the eyelet because this can weaken the support system and can increase the chances of an accident. Once the eyelet is in, you can clip the chain on. Before placing the swivel clip on, put the bolt on the swing.



The washers are large enough that you can tighten them with your fingers (but you can use a wrench if needed). Attach the swivel clip to the chain and the bolt, and you have a sex swing!



The Torsion Spring
The torsion spring acts like a shock absorber. If you choose to install it, make sure your hands stay clear from it to avoid pinching during use. If you install the torsion spring, the weight limit goes down to 200 pounds. Without the spring, the weight limit is the advertised amount of 350 pounds.

There is both a chain and torsion spring. In the instructions, it appears that the chain can be removed from the torsion spring.



However, it doesn't seem to be the case. There is no carabiner between the torsion spring and chain. Instead, the chain is attached directly to the torsion spring. It cannot be bent or manipulated (easily) to remove the chain and spring. If you are foregoing the torsion spring for a higher weight limit, the swing can still be installed. Simply remove the chain and spring from the set up. If concerned about the integrity of the carabiner, you can buy a climbing grade one at any outdoor store.



To remove the swing, simply unclip the swing and chain from the eyelet. Always keep the eyelet in as long as you intend to use the swing. Here's how it looks when it is installed.

If anything gets on the straps and paddings, it's best to wipe them with a damp cloth. Avoid making the swing wet. You can add a bit of toy cleaner to the cloth to clean the swing. Keep the swing away from sunlight to keep the straps and color from fading. Always store the swing in a cool, dry place to prevent rusting and/or molding. Storage is a bit of a challenge with the swing. If you can't leave it hanging in all its glory, the closet can be a good place to keep the swing. You can store it in its box, but its obvious what's inside.

And... wow. Just wow. There was a bit of bumbling about when starting because the straps had to be adjusted for my partner's height. But after that, it was amazing. We never experienced many standing positions because of height differences, and I didn't want to break his back bearing my weight. With the swing, it was effortless. He was able to move me about in a variety of ways and have access in a variety of ways. This is something I recommend everyone try at least once.
