Hot pink flamingo cami with g-string - camisole set discontinued by Fantasy Lingerie - review by NaughtyNikkie

When I took the Flamingo set from the box I had mixed emotions about how it would really look on me but once I put it on I was happy with the way it fit. It comes with two pieces: Cami and G-string. The set is made from Pinkish Purple mesh with a matching feather boa trim, the trim has longer black feathers scattered throughout.


The set came wrapped in hot pink tissue paper and nothing more. It arrived without any real damages, I just wondered if the bow between the breasts was supposed to look as it did. My only complaint is that the feather boa trim curls under in a spot right on the front not letting it fall as it really should.


I am a size 3, 105 pounds, 5' 4", and an A cup. I got a Med and it fits great, I was worried that a Med might not fit my breasts well but I was wrong, a Sm would not have fit at all. If you are around my size, I would recommend buying a Med. One fantastic must know is it fits GREAT in my bust, when you are as small as I am, not many tops fit and fit well at that. This top is not loose at all. It doesn't have any underwire or any padding, so it doesn't really help to add size or lift. I would say that it would fit best on those with smaller breasts because the area is rather small where your breasts go, 5 inches tall and only 3 inches wide.


The G-String is one of the better made panties as well, unlike most that come with a set they did not cheap out on these! The one thing I didn't like about the G-String was the fact it was like having a cat toy between my legs. With me saying that if you have cats in your house be sure to lock them up while you wear this, my cats were following me around attacking the feathers and I doubt the mesh would hold up to an attack of cat claws.

Care of this set as recommended on the tag says: Machine wash warm, gentle cycle. Tumble dry low, remove promptly. Do not twist or wring...
I would be worried about putting this in the washer, I have owned feather trim Lingerie before and the washer caused the feathers to clump together and/or fall apart. I just use a stain pen to spot treat as needed.

I had gotten this to change things up a bit from the normal black my husband likes, being a wild girl I needed somethhing that was out there. When I found this I just had to get it. To my surprise my husband loves it, I was worried he wasn't going to like it with how bright it is but he loved the face I got something this "out of control" were his words. Me shaking things up a bit cause one hell of a crazy night!!

I will be throwing a few curve balls from time to time for now on.

Well not such good news about this Flamingo set. It had got a bit messy the other night and I had no choice but to wash it and just like I thought it didn't hold up too well. The feathers got matted and half the longer black feathers fell out. The cat toy between the legs got all knotted up as well. I'm a bit saddened by this outcome, my splash of color just went in the trash.
