Money maker crop top and booty short - bra and panty set discontinued by Espiral - review by Breas

The Money Maker Crop Top and Booty Short by Espiral is available in sizes S-XL and in the colours blue or black. I purchased the size XL in black. I had always thought that the dollar sign on the shorts was kind of silly but my partner really liked it so I decided to give it a try for him.

The outfit arrived in a plastic bag with cardboard inserts. The front of the packaging has a photo of a model wearing the outfit and states the company name and outfit size. The back of the packaging has a back view of a model wearing the outfit, a few more photos of other outfits by the company, and states the product name, size, colour, care instructions, and material composition. The packaging is not ideal for storage. I just keep my outfit in a drawer.



Inside of the packaging, the outfit is wrapped around some thin, white paper. The outfit includes 2 pieces: the top, and the underwear. The outfit is 93% polyester and 7% spandex. Both panty and top have stretch to them. They are not sheer and do not become sheer the more they are stretched.





I’ve taken a few measurements of the outfit laying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements, let me know and I will get them for you.

Top
Chest unstretched (armpit to armpit): 15 inches
Chest stretched as much as I could (armpit to armpit): 27 inches
Halter tie length: 14 ¼ inches each
Length of top (armpit to bottom): 5 ¼ inches
Length of top (down centre front): just less than 4 ½ inches
Length of top (centre back): just less than 2 inches

Bottoms
Waistband unstretched: 13 inches
Waistband stretched as much as I could: 24 inches
Length of panty (taken down side): 3 ½ inches
Liner length: 3 ½ inches

The top to the outfit looks like a little vest. There are 3 silver coloured metal snap closures down the centre front. The snaps secure tightly and have a diameter of ½ an inch each. The width of the vest is not adjustable other than by stretching it. The top of the vest has thin halter straps, which tie behind your neck. The ties are lengthy and stretchy so they shouldn’t be a problem for anyone.

There is no padding or underwire in the chest. The material is rather thin so if you’re worried about nipple or jewellery outline, you may want to wear a set of pasties or similar item beneath the top.

The bottom to the outfit is called shorts, but I consider the panty to be more bikini-style. The front of the panty has a strip of fabric that runs horizontally at the top centre. This strip is about 1 inch in length and is approximately 6 inches unstretched. This strip of fabric holds the dollar sign at the very centre.

The dollar sign is a silver coloured metal. The two lines running vertically down the dollar sign are filled with a silver glitter. It looks very cheap. The dollar sign is just less than 2 ½ inches tall and is 1 ½ inches wide. The dollar symbol is not heavy. It’s attached to the panty with only a couple stitches in two areas. The dollar sign would be really easy to remove if you wanted to.



The back of the panty covers the bum. There is ruching that runs down the very middle of the back of the panty (basically where your bum crack is). The ruching sits on elastic band so the more you stretch the length; the less ruched it will look. There is a lining in the crotch of the underwear.

So before I tried the outfit on to wear it, I was sure that I was not going to like it. When I first seen the underwear, I was like, “okay small”. They stretch really nicely though and they fit me really well (my bigger bum and all!). I have 41-inch hips and the panty fit nicely in width without feeling tight or restricting. The ruching on the bum looks great.

The top also fit me well. I wear a C cup and the top looked good on me. There was still room for stretch in the chest area so a person with larger cups than me should fit fine as well. I tried the top on first and thought to myself, “wow, this would look great with my wet look sleeves”. Both the top and bottom could be worn with different wet look pieces and still look great.

Everything was comfortable, breathable, and non-irritating to the skin. The packaging states that the outfit should be washed separately (I assume hand wash) and drip dried. The outfit should not be bleached.

Overall, I love everything about the outfit except the silly dollar sign on the panty. It’s really cheap looking. Luckily though, it can be easily removed without any harm to the actual panty. Since it can be so easily removed, I decided not to deduct a star for this. I just love the way it fits, looks, and my partner loves it too.

I think what I might do is try to get crafty with the dollar sign and add a bunch of rhinestone gems to it. If it looks even sillier, I’ll just cut the threads that hold the sign to the panty. I think that I also might get the outfit in electric blue as well because I really love the way the outfit looks on me.
