Black ravishing cleavage top - tee discontinued by Espiral - review by unfulfilled

What it is The Black Ravishing Cleavage top from the AM:PM collection from Espiral is a non-padded top that can be worn for daily activities or for going out. You can pair this with shorts or jeans for casual wear or pair it with dress pants or a skirt for something a little bit dressier. It wraps around your head in halter fashion. It is called Ravishing Cleavage top, but in reality doesn’t really show any cleavage even if I had any to show off. The back of the piece is open from your shoulders to your bra line so if you enjoy showing off your back, then this is the top for you.

Sizes Eden Carries Eden currently carries this in Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large. I have the small and my review is based on that information. Eden also carries this in white if you prefer white tops over black.

Given the following information, I should have room up top, be a little snug in the middle, and loose around my hips. Unlike the Simply Sexy Top from Espiral, this is not tight on me at all. It is very comfortable and about the right amount of snugness that I prefer in my clothes.

Measurements taken laid flat Laying flat, from the top of the halter to the bottom, this measure 22” long. The silver ring is 11 ½”-14” from the top. It is 13 ¼” wide at the middle where the ring is. There are 33 small circles enclosing the large ring. The ring is very similar to those clips from the early 90's where you clipped the bottom of your shirt up in a decorative ring. There is 6 ½” wide gap at the upper chest, but it’s not cut low to provide cleavage. The upper part of the back is non-existent so your shoulders will show when you are wearing this. The bottom half is 10” long.

Material and Care I am given two conflicting data about the materials of this top. This happened in another top I recently reviewed from the same company so Espiral needs to get their act together and provide their wearers with accurate information. According to the cardboard that came attached to the top, it is made out of 65% polyester and 35% rayon. The tag on the shirt on the other hand says it is made out of 93% polyester and 7% elastan. I don’t know which one it is actually made out of and is accurate.

According to their symbols on the tag, it is best to hand wash only, do not use chlorine bleach, do not iron, and do not dry clean.

Craftsmanship There are no loose strings, unfinished edges, or tears in the material. The stitching seems to be secure. However, if you tug on the seams very hard, you can hear them ripping. It has a vertical and horizontal seam where the material has been sewn together. The bottom of the top has been stitched together as well. The material is stretchy, the more you stretch it, the more see-through it becomes.

Packaging There is cardboard attached to the top that shows a model wearing the white version of it, UPC info, style of the top, and sizing information. The top came wrapped in a see-through, sealed, plastic bag with a clear little hanger on it.

I really like this top. It is very comfortable and I'm able to wear a strapless bra and it does not show in the back. The decorative ring in the center of the bust adds a nice decorative touch to an otherwise simple top. The halter did not hurt my neck at all and was very comfortable to wear. I like it so much, that I'm going to have to get it in white as well.

The center decorative piece lost some of the material out of it and I could never get it to go back in without looking awful.
