Cropped cami with panty - camisole set discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by TameTemptress

This is a two piece set by Coquette. (I'm not sure why the description page says this is by Leg Avenue? Are they actually the same company?) Featured in this set is a cropped camisole, and matching red lace tanga panty with red ribbon lace ties. The red lace has a heart pattern. Red, lace, and hearts. Very Valentine's Day.


The cropped cami will fit a wide range of sizes, as it is completely adjustable. The shoulder straps can be adjusted, as well as the laces in the front of the cami. I found that you could wear this cami with the laces in the front, or in the back, it kind of gives it a two-for-one feel. It's quite comfortable, and fits me well, though it doesn't offer much support.


The tanga shorts are cute, and match the cami perfectly. There is a little Coquette "Lips" charm on the front of the panty. There are laces on each hip. I think on someone just a few inches smaller in the hips than myself, these would be perfect. I checked out the size charts on here and I do feel this set matches more closely with Leg Avenue's sizing of up to 40" hips than Coquette's sizing that lists a L as up to 42" hips.


My measurements are 44", 36", 44"... I'm curvy and normally wear a size 14/XL. I purchased this set in a size L, on a whim, just to see if it would fit me. In the photos of the mannequin wearing this set, the ribbons seemed quite long, and I figured I would be able to adjust the fit with them. I was right, though this was more flattering on the top than on the bottoms, for me. I was able to fit into the bottoms, I just didn't like the way they looked. There isn't any stretch to the lace with this set, but the ribbons do offer the option of being pulled tighter or more loose to give you a custom fit, and I really like that about this set.


Care instructions are to hand wash in cold water, and hang dry. I haven't put this in the washing machine, and have followed these care instructions. The lace is durable and I think it would hold up to the cycles of the washing machine, but I think the ribbons would get tangled and it would be more of a headache to fix than it's worth "saving time" by not hand washing.

I still like the top. :) It's cute and comfortable. The bottoms never really worked for me, so I tucked them away. I'm not sure if I'll use the lace for something else, or if I'll just hold on to them in the hopes I shrink someday, haha.
