Sheer baby doll coat set - babydoll and panties set by Escante - review by winterseve

I have to start with the fact that this is now my favorite "during pregnancy" babydoll. My husband isn't thrilled with the color but :-P to him. This babydoll set does exactly what I'd hope, that is, make me feel sexy.

The color of the set I got is described as "grape". I couldn't have said it better myself. While it isn't exactly a sexy color like red or black, I still love it. If it were more of a merlot color it would be a bit better than "grape". The lace is not as soft as other pieces I have, but it is not uncomfortable in the least. I'm sure with some careful hand washing (or a warm wash with like colors on gentle as the tag says) I'm sure it will soften more.

The set comes with three pieces. Surprisingly the first piece is NOT a thong! You heard it right folks, you get a very comfortable pair of string bikini style panties with this one. Woohoo! Finally! They still are a big on me since I order a 3X usually due to my large breasts (and currently ever expanding baby belly). Normally I wear a Medium at Victoria's Secret, so I didn't expect them to fit. While the panties are comfortable, I don't think they would be made for all day wear - just sexy time. The uber surprising bikini panties are made from the same 100% nylon material as the coat.

The coat itself is gorgeous! It would be nice to be able to choose a long or short coat, but that fact does not distract from the appeal of the piece. The tag on the back with the instructions for washing and material composition is removable. There is also a fairly large loop of lace on the back above the tag so that you can hang the coat more easily on a hanger or hook. The body and arm portions of the coat are made from mesh nylon. It does have a decent amount of stretch to it. Personally I like a coat, even a sexy sheer coat to have a closure in the front, so I plan to attach one. Again, this doesn't distract from the piece itself, I just like to customize to make things the best for me that they can be. At the end of each sleeve there is a large ruffle that goes around the upper wrist. The delicate nylon lace is trimmed with ribbon and a bow at its attachment point. This ruffled lace gives the piece a very Victorian feel. If it were longer of a coat and there were the same lace alone the bottom edge I'd swear I'd be bitten by a vampire in the middle of the night. The coat should be long enough to cover the rear end of most people. It comes about 4 inches below my tush. I have a decently long torso for how short I am (5'3") if that gives you an idea. All of the edges were finished with a surger so they should be come undone unless somebody intentionally destroys the edges or unless it gets snagged badly on another item.

The main event would then be the third piece, the babydoll itself. The entire front of the babydoll is made from the same lace that adorns the edges of the sleeves. The breasts are adequately supported with - wait for it - an underwire! This is the best plus size babydoll ever! I LOVE the support I get from this babydoll! The top of the cups have a bit of thin lace finishing. The straps are not as wide or sturdy as I'd like, but that is the only downfall I really mind out of the set. The back of the babydoll is the same mesh found in the coat. The ribbon that edges the lace cuffs on the sleeves of the coat also surrounds the hem of the babydoll. The back of the empire waist is not adjustable. I like this for the fact that it cannot lead to hooks getting caught on the delicate material. It fits me just right and does stretch enough for larger chested women. Did I mention how much I LOVE this piece? Just checking.

I love to wear this piece around the house. Sure it's great for trying to entice my husband into some nookie, but I like it most just for me. It gets me feeling better about my expanding size, makes me relax and daydream, and put myself in just the right mood for some self pleasure when my mind needs to catch up to the horny feelings of my body. While my husband doesn't claim it's his favorite, he doesn't have any qualms about it and is more than happy to see me in the set. This sexy piece is not to be overlooked by anyone large or small. This sexy set does it all!

After having my daughter and working on losing the baby weight I especially love this piece. I feel sexy and I look great. The cups are a little small on my chest because my breasts are so large from breast feeding, but they fit enough. I wish this were in many more colors and in slightly longer lengths. Definitely a must have outfit!
