Strappy fishnet halter dress - camigarter and panty set discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by SMichelle

My boyfriend has a thing for fishnet stockings -- he just goes wild every time I wear them. Seeing how absolutely wild fishnets drive him, I had to wonder if I could take it to the next level. I browsed EdenFantasy's for hours, searching for a sexy outfit that would peak his interest as much as fishnet stockings do. It was then that I saw this "dress"; the sexy fishnet material, the revealing cut...oh yes, I thought, this is just the thing. Now that I have it? Let me tell you, it was just the thing. That being said, this dress is not without its flaws.

Basics:
This sexy fishnet mini dress is made by Leg Avenue. The packaging states that it was made in Taiwan.

The set includes two pieces; the strappy fishnet halter dress, and the matching fishnet g-string. It is, regretfully, only available in black. I would loved to have seen it available in more colors, but you can't go wrong with black.

Material & Care:
Both pieces are made out of 100% Nylon.

The material is, of course, fishnet. The netting consists of very small diamonds; your nipples will not poke through the holes.. Keep in mind, however, that your nipples WILL be able to be seen through the fabric, as the material is not solid.

The fishnet is not the softest that I've felt, but it's also not itchy. It feels comfortable on my sensitive bits, and I really can't imagine the fabric irritating anyone.

The fishnet material is extremely stretchy, so this will certainly fit many individuals. That said, this till isn't going to fit everyone, as there is some limit to the stretch.

The fabric feels quite durable, but you should still be careful not to snag it.

The edging on the dress is made out of a sort of black elastic-like material. The edging is meant to sort of hug your body, so it's a bit tighter than the fishnet. While does fit snugly, the edging is also very stretchy.

To care for this item, you should hand wash it in warm water, and then allow it to drip dry. Remember, only use non-chlorine bleach when needed, and do not iron.

As for storage? I simply store it in my lingerie drawer; there's no need for special storage requirements.

Sizing:
It's regretful that this item is only available in one size fits most.

According to Leg Avenue's size chart, one size fits most should fit someone with the following measurements:
Cups: A-C
Bust: 32-38"
Waist: 23-29"
Hips: 34-40"

Looking at the size chart, I was anticipating this piece fitting me a bit too tightly. I feared that my large C/small D breasts would burst out of the cups. I imagined that the skirt portion would tear as I tried to get my 40" hips into it. Thankfully this piece was a near perfect fit for me!

In all honesty, I feel like this piece is probably best suited for C cups, though it could probably fit up to DD breasts. That's not to say that smaller breasts won't fit, but I worry that the little straps on the bust portion won't lay properly on smaller breasts.

As for the g-string? It fit me, but it was uncomfortable and dug into my skin. Thankfully, however, I didn't buy this for the g-string.

I took the following measurements with the items laying flat:

G-string waistband: 12" (unstretched), 20.5" (stretched to their fullest potential)
G-string triangle across the top: 3.5"
G-string triangle up the sides: 6"
Bra cups: 6" (across middle, unstretched), 6" (down the center)
Skirt waistband: 12" (unstretched), 21" (stretched)
Skirt length: 7.5"

Design:
Oh, the design of this set...where does one begin? This set is fairly complicated in design, for such a "simple" piece.

The bust area is my favorite portion of this set. The cups don't offer a lot of support; there's no underwire, and obviously there's no padding. There is a hint of support provided by the black elastic band that goes underneath the bust, but that does't provide much for me. Even without support, I just love the look. The elastic black bands going up around the breast, forming a lovely border -- it's incredibly sexy.

The trouble with the black elastic bands is that they can be difficult to get to lay flat. Even on my fairly large breasts, I can only get them to lay properly if I tie the halter neck very tightly. Tying the halter neck so tightly can, unfortunately, result in some back pains. Still, the look is sexy enough that I'm willing to risk it once in awhile.

Now, the bra band... The bra band has your standard bra hook and eye closure. The hooks are metal, so they're really durable. There's also three closure settings, so you'll be able to choose the one that best suits your comfort level.

The top of the bra, if you're wondering, ties halter fashion. It's fairly easy to adjust, but you're going to want to tie it tightly to get the rest of the piece to lay properly.

Going down from the bra, you'll find that the back is wide open, yet the front has a very sexy little fishnet panel. This panel provides the wearer with a bit coverage, which is nice (especially if you're self conscious about your stomach, as I am).

Connected to the little stomach panel, is the garter skirt. At the bottom of the garter skirt, you'll find four garter straps. Those garter straps are not removable, which means you'll either need to tuck them in, cut them off, or always wear this with stockings. I like to stockings, so I left them. On the plus side, the garters are adjustable, so you'll be able to adjust them to a length that works for you. At the shortest length, they measure 4.5", while the longest length is 6".

The garters are not great quality. They're cute, but you can tell that they're meant to be more for looks than functional. The reason that I say this is because they're so very thin, that I truly feel like they'll break soon enough.

The garter clasps themselves? They're sturdy. The clasps are plastic, but they're not at all flexible -- which is certainly a good thing.

As for the included g-string? It's just a fishnet triangle in the front, with straps coming off of it. There is no pantyliner, and for me? This g-string is a throw-away, just like many other included g-strings.

Quality:
Considering the inexpensive price of this item, the quality is decent enough. Still, it's not perfect. There were multiple areas with loose threads, and I genuinely find myself worried about how the seams will hold up. That said, I've worn this a few times without it falling apart, so I feel like I've gotten a great deal.

This just didn't hold up well. I wore it twice, and it just kept fraying more and more. It was a sexy idea, but the quality was terrible.
