I was very excited to learn I would be receiving the Waterproof G-girl vibrator|Waterproof 7 function G-girl because of the length--it's 8 1/2 inches. I couldn't wait to try using this for clit stimulation during intercourse. I've always had trouble reaching my clit and being able to sustain stimulation while fucking, so my hopes were high for this reason.

After receiving the G-girl I inspected it excitedly. The particular green color neither pleased nor turned me off. The G-girl is a metallic light pastel sage color and has no foul odor. The plastic is smooth, hard and non-porous; if sharing using a condom is still a good idea. I found the power switch on the bottom, just one tiny little button. With anticipation I washed my new toy, inserted the 2 double batteries (very easy to insert) and prepared for some solo action.

Buzz... although it's louder than a cell phone it isn't loud enough to be heard over low noise or a closed door. I think this will pass in home with kids. I began playing with my clit on the first setting--it was fairly stimulating but not flying me to the moon.The power in the G-girl is located primarily in the pointed tip of the G-spot curve. I decided to try the second, just push the bottom button and presto you find alternating surging... OK, next? Alternating surges that jump between high and low. It's nice on high but the low...no thanks.The forth setting is surging then pulsing. The fifth, I think the worst setting, is a steady buzz starting on high then medium and low, then it reverses low, medium and then high. I'm sorry, I don't care for a toy bringing me down on my way up, unless I'm looking for a lot of teasing. The sixth: three pulses and a surge. The seventh: a back and forth surge with a steady high at the end. My favorite was the first, strongest steady vibration. So much for seven sensations! I'll only use the first one unless I want a lot of foreplay or nipple stimulation. The nipple stimulation does feel good though.

I was able to have an orgasm on the first setting with some manipulation of the clit. I also used this on my clit during penetration and was also able to climax. As a G-spot vibe I found this toy to be unremarkable, nothing special. I did however like the girth of this toy (1 3/8"). It's great for squeezing to work those Kegel muscles--the ridges are nice in this application. I also love that this baby had no problem being used in the water: tub, shower, submerged, you name it. My biggest problem with this toy other than wishing it had more power was having to cycle through all seven settings to turn it off or get back to a setting I wanted.

I've had some problems with this vibe continuing to work properly. I think it has to do with the batteries connecting properly. Inside this vibe is a plastic sleeve, I assume is meant to keep this vibe quiet but I think it blocks connection when turned just so. I've tried old and new batteries and it works intermittently. Go figure?
