#70, Not a #1 Toy
The placement of the vibration in this little waterproof toy leaves much to be desired. Despite the nice look and feel of this toy, its floppiness and too rounded ribbing don't easily get the job done. The price isn't bad for a silicone composite waterproof toy, but you could spend a little more to get a better toy, or spend a little less to get a less pretty but more effective traditional vibe.

Pros
Waterproof, aesthetically pleasing, low odor.
Cons
Too floppy, weak vibration along length of toy.
While I may get a little crazy in my toy box, truth be told it’s the plain, simple traditional vibes that I normally turn to at the end of the day. When ordering the Pure Vibes Silicone #70 I was excited to get a traditional type vibe, with a bit of an upgrade. However, this toy is a little less than awesome.
One plus on the Pure Vibes #70 it that has very very little odor, probably because it is a silicone composite. Also, the waterproof feature is definitely a plus. However, past that and the pretty design, there isn't anything special about this toy.
The #70 is a silicone composite toy, and is pretty floppy. It feels firm at first touch, but it bends almost 90 degrees with very little pressure. If you are looking for a bendy toy, I suppose this is a good feature, but I don't think bendy or floppy when I think Traditional Vibe. It does have a large rounded tip, designed for easy insertion, but this does not pair well with the floppiness of the toy.
The toy claims to have all the vibration concentrated in the tip - this is fairly true, but the tip is very thick so the vibrations are relatively muted. Also, since the vibration is in the tip, you get very little vibration near the base of the toy; the place where a woman feels it most.
One interesting feature on the Pure #70 is that it tapers to the middle, and then has a little flare. Unfortunately, this flare is very little and there isn't much to feel. The same goes for the ribbing. Because the ribbing is so smooth and rounded, there isn't much to actually feel when the toy is inside, or even on its way in.
Overall, there isn't much special about this toy. It is a decent toy to just have around I suppose. It is one of the better inexpensive waterproof vibes I have used. Although, I think that if you have a little more cash to spend, you should go with a more expensive waterproof vibe with more oomph; or spend a little less cash, and get a basic toy that will get the job done. But at the end of the day, it will still get the job done. But there are just other toys that can get it done better.

Thank you for viewing Pure vibes silicone # 70 – vibrator review page!
I didn't find that it needed more lube than usual. I didn't use a lot, but when I did use lube it was just a basic water-based (shouldn't use oil based since the toy is silicone composite and oils can damage the toy). It did not soak up lube like some other silicone toys can do.
Hope that helped! Let me know if there is anything else I missed.
