A Bumpy ride... of sorts.

If you are looking for a basic egg shaped bullet with just a little something different, this is the one for you! However, it IS just a bullet with bumps on it.
Published:
Pros
Bumps add extra stimulation and the vibrations are powerful enough.
Cons
Jelly is less sterile than other materials.

Use

This Bumpy Bullet is designed mostly for clitoral stimulation, though you could insert it if you like. It's a good way to tease during foreplay, enhance oral and/or sexual intercourse, or get a quick orgasm alone or with a partner. It feels great on my nipples and other sensitive areas. My man likes it on his balls and taint during a blow job or sex. It's easiest used in the backwards cow-girl position, so both my hands are free and I have the room and the perfect access to do the job. I also like for my man to use this on my clit when I am riding him forward.

Material / Texture

The silver bullet is covered in bumpy pink jelly. It had the faintest rubbery smell upon opening, but it has gone away. The bumpy texture was a nice addition, though it may be irritating to those who are sensitive. I use lube with it at all times, and it feels much better that way. I don't see a problem with any one getting enjoyment out of this bullet; beginners or advanced.

Design / Shape / Size

This bullet is the same size as most egg bullets, though the added jelly covering makes it a tad bit thicker.

It is small enough to hide in a clean sock for travel, though the design is not at all discreet. Any one who sees it uncovered will know it's a bullet. I'm not a big fan of bullets, but they do come in handy when you don't want to mess with a bulky massager or vibrator during play.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The controls on this are simple. The cord that is attached is of adequate length and is attached to a small pink controller. There are two arrow buttons; one pointing up and one pointing down. They are easy to push, and allow you to switch through the four settings, from the lowest intensity to the highest. The vibrations are steady with no pulsing or other variations. The lowest speed is great for teasing, and I found the highest speed to be quite powerful for a bullet. Combined with the bumps, I found it to be almost too powerful for my clit... ALMOST. This toy is fairly quiet too, the highest setting could not be heard through a closed door.
The package says it is water proof, and I used it in the shower once to test it out. The battery compartment stayed dry, though I hesitated on submerging the whole thing, cord, controller and all. I did fill up my sink and drop it in, though. I had to be thorough! I left it in for five whole minutes while it buzzed away. The batteries stayed dry and it still works. I haven't had great experiences with water proof bullets in the tub, as they always seem to stop working after a few uses. Only time will tell on this particular one, but I will be sure to test it out some more.

Care and Maintenance

Jelly is very porous, so it can not be completely sterilized. I would definitely recommend condoms for sharing or anal use. I clean this toy like all my other toys; toy cleaner or antibacterial hand soap. Just make sure to really get around all the bumps. Dry and store in a zip top bag by itself, so as not to risk damage to this or any other toy it comes in contact with. I know jelly toys, if stored with other jelly toys, will cause deterioration or "melting".

As for lube, I only use water based, but silicone will not damage this one.

Packaging

Typical plastic snap top packaging, no directions.

The packaging does say water proof and informs you that it takes two AAA batteries, which were not included.
Follow-up commentary
My partner and I have used this a few times during sex. We found he could place this under his balls and close his legs while lying down, to keep it in place. I rode him and could feel the vibrations as well. I'm starting to appreciate bullets more!

Rereading my reviews, I saw that I didn't put how many settings there were. There are four in total. all, the same except in intensity.

Thanks for the great review. I've never owned a bullet yet, but I don't think I'd like one with bumps either.

Very nice review, as always! Big smile

    Thanks!

The bumps can be good, but can also be rough with a material like jelly. Something softer, perhaps silicone?

    Thanks for the review.

I like to use bullets with sleeves, but they are a pain to clean. The Purple Collection by Orion, [https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-toy-reviews/female-sextoys/triple-treat-bullet-in-an-affordable-package] with three sleeves, made from TPE is a nice one, but again, some work to clean it properly. The sleeves add variety to plain bullets, IMO.

Glad you are enjoying this one, you might want to try one with a safer material though.

Yeah, I hate jelly toys, but when the manufacturer asked me if I would review, I thought why not?. I don't use this one very often because of the material. I will be looking into bullet sleeves though, for my regular bullet. Thanks for the comment!
