Savanna UR3 soft sleeve and vibrator - traditional vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Sammi

The Savanna UR3 Sleeve and Vibrator from Doc Johnson arrived securely packaged in a plastic box. It looked small in the packaging, but it is about 7 1/2“ from tip to base (with 6 1/2“ insertable), and it has a diameter of just under 2”. The Savanna uses 2 AA batteries, and the variable vibrations are controlled with a twist of the dial on the bottom. The vibrations are fairly strong for only 2 AAs, and it's fairly loud. The vibrator inside is a standard white plastic vibrator – what makes this vibrator different is the sleeve.

The sleeve is a lovely pink color, and made from Ultra Realistic 3.0 (UR3) material. It has raised ribs from the tip to about halfway down the shaft, and the rest of the shaft is smooth. The sleeve is super soft, although a bit sticky, to the touch. UR3 is a mixture of PVC and silicone, made to feel like real skin. It’s soft, but very flexible, and while I don’t think it feels like skin, it is very pleasant. I mentioned in another review that the surface is reminiscent of a lint roller, and it will pick up anything – dust, hair, you name it – that it comes into contact with.

UR3 is very porous, so it is difficult to clean and cannot be sterilized. It is recommended to use a condom during use. UR3 toys should be washed before and after each use with soap and water to keep them clean. These toys need a washing before use to get rid of any dust and dirt that may have collected on them. Be careful when washing the toy that you don’t get too close to the base, as it is not waterproof. It is recommended to dust this toy with cornstarch before storage so it doesn’t become sticky, and it should be stored separately from other toys in a cool, dark place. A plastic baggie can be used to help protect the toy during storage from absorbing dyes from other materials. Only water based lubricants should be used with UR3.

My husband used this vibrator on me several times, and it definitely worked well. He started each time using it with the dial turned low and rubbing my clit with it, before cranking up the vibrations and inserting it in my pussy. For the price, the Savanna UR3 is a good vibrator with decent vibrations and great texture. If you haven’t tried the silky feel of UR3 before, this is a great toy to start with!

I've been taking care of this one, and using it quite a bit the past month. With careful washing before and after use, the sleeve has stayed intact, with no rips or tears, and still feels nice. The batteries last a long time as well. While this isn't my favorite vibrator, I still enjoy it quite a bit.
