The SW Hookup is a cute, hot pink, remote controlled bullet vibe. It's meant to look totally travel friendly and be a way for your partner to gain control. It's both wireless and waterproof but I fear the good people at California Exotics just didn't keep up to their usual standards. The only functional aspect of this toy is that it vibrates, period. Everything else is either lacking or does not work as it should.

That all being said, the SW Hookup can be used to stimulate the nipples, clit, and can even be inserted vaginally. Don't use it for pinpointed stimulation, however as it has some scratchy safety information etched right onto the tip!

This toy will work for anyone who is wanting non pinpointed stimulation. If you crave precision and accuracy in your vibe, look elsewhere.

You could use this toy as a tease. Your partner could take the controls and decide when, and if, you get stimulation.

The toy is made from PU coated plastic and PVC plastic. The bullet has a satin finish and is velvety to the touch. This unit is hard and has no give, but then again, most bullets are hard. The toy has a slight smell but it's not unpleasant and it has a slightly sweet taste, so lick away. The wrist strap is plastic coated wire. Not stretchy at all.

The controls have a slight satin finish to them and are slightly velvety to the touch but not as much as the bullet. A clear, raised, plastic name brand emblem adorns the front. Like the bullet, a plastic coated wire is meant to be a wrist strap.

The bullet is a little thicker than most, which I really enjoy for vaginal insertion. The bullet is about 2.5 inches long with 2 of those inches being insertable length. The diameter is just under an inch. See, I told you it was girthy! The wrist strap is useless for people with large hands unless you were born without bones. It's six inches long (long enough) but can only be stretched to 3.5 inches wide, meaning you will really have to finagle with it to get it over your entire hand.

The control pad looks like a car flogger. In fact, if it did not say it was a novelty right on the front, you could fool most people with it (hey, I'd buy a hot pink car flogger!). Anyhow, it's about 1.5 inches long and 1 inch wide. The wrist strap is useless. It's 4.5 inches long but only 2.5 inches wide when stretched! If you can get your hand in that I salute you. For me, the wrist straps are pretty much of a waste and get in the way.

The toy is small, so it's perfect for travel.

The bullet takes 2 N batteries and the control pad takes 1 12 volt that are included! I can't complain about included batteries! The controls are very easy, there is a single push button. When on, the unit has a blue indicator light. The bullet has a single setting which I would say is medium. It's very steady and smooth and vibes are centered in the middle, which is great since the tip is scratchy. To turn the unit off simply push the button again.

The lack of variety is really where I question the necessity of a control pad. To me, a simple push button on the bullet itself would suffice, but at least it gives your partner the chance to tease you.

The bullet is waterproof with an O Ring and performs great in the tub or shower, the control unit is not waterproof! This is OK since the unit has a 23 foot range at the least, so your partner can be safely away from the water while you suds up.

The toy is very quiet, about the same intensity as a cell phone and cannot be heard from behind a closed door but can be heard from under the covers.

Wash this toy with soap and water or a toy cleaner before and after each use, but do not get the control pad wet! Use only water and silicone based lubes, never oil. Store in a toy chest or drawer. If you intend to share, cover the bullet with a condom.

The toy arrives in a Shane's World clear plastic clamshell container with a picture of a woman's midriff. Instructions are not provided. The packaging is not good for storage or gifting.

I had high hopes for this toy but it seems like most everything about it just fell short. I could not use it for pinpointed stimulation and found the remote pretty pointless as there is only one function. I paired it with a dildo to get me off. It's a cute teaser but it needs some extra umph to get the job done.
