Acrylic smooth grooves G - g-spot vibrator discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by ToyQuest

I have to admit, one of my favorite things about Acrylic grooves G is the name of the company: “Where Boys Aren’t – Toys 4 Girls Series.”  Ironically, that’s exactly where I am, where boys aren’t. I need to have a good solid toy that will get the job done.

When I was perusing the website, I came across this suave looking g-spot vibrator that looked like it would really hit that sweet spot. The curve for the g-spot is exquisite. I have a rippled glass dildo that I absolutely love, and so when I saw the grooves on this, I was pretty excited. The grooves do so much for the opening of the vagina. I submitted my request and patiently waited until I could pick up my new package (no pun intended).

When I opened the box with my new toy, I thought it looked cheaply made, but I pulled out the instructions to figure out how to get the batteries in. The instructions are useless. It didn’t have a model of this vibrator’s battery casing. When I finally got the battery casing open (it was screwed on tight), I had no idea which way the batteries went in. I put them in the way I thought they should go, but that didn’t work. I tried the opposite and turned it on. (As a side note, it is difficult to get the batteries out of the body. I had to shake the vibrator and hit it against my hand to get them out.) This is possibly one of the most powerful toys I have ever touched. It is also one of the loudest.

I have another confession to make. When I felt how strong the vibrations were, I didn’t want to use the vibrator. I wanted to keep it as a back massager for my friends and myself. After a day or so of using it as a back massager, the g-spot head became entirely too enticing.

I first tried the vibrator over my clitoral area with my clothes on. It was an instant orgasm. I turned it off and put it inside of me. I used it as a dildo, and it was fantastic. When I turned it on, I found that the intense vibrations were overwhelming with the thrusting. Instead, I left the motor on and experimented with the angle of the head. Because the vibrator is so strong, it really seems to penetrate beyond just the surface of the vaginal walls. I’m looking forward to playing more with this toy, even though it only has one vibration setting.

A word of warning: under no circumstances drop this vibrator on a hard surface.  The vibrator fell off my bed onto the hardwood floor of my dorm room, and the head broke off. It still works. I glued it back together with Krazy Glue, and it seems to be fine. Just know that this is a delicate toy.

It is now two toys later and I can honestly say that I really enjoy this toy!  I’ve been telling all of my friends that if they’re going to invest in a vibrator|Vibrators - Vibrating sex toys, this is the one.  At least it is if they want g-spot|G-Spot 101 Guide: G-Spot Stimulation (or p-spot for the guys) stimulation.

The head is so perfectly curved for g-spot stimulation, and it is firm, so it really hits the spot.  The "grooves" or ribs provide excellent stimulation for the opening of the vagina.  Unfortunately, this toy is still obnoxiously loud and not good for close living quarters, like a dorm or a thin walled apartment.  As long as you don't have to be discrete, this is a wonderful toy for both internal and external stimulation.  It does only have one setting, so if you have a sensitive clit, this toy may be too much for you externally because it is a very powerful motor.  Actually, I use this toy without the motor on as well and it still does its job.  I can’t complain.

One other thing that I love about this toy is that it doesn’t eat batteries.  I’m still using the batteries that I first put in it.  While it isn’t the least expensive vibrator, it isn’t an expensive one either, and it saves you money by not going through batteries constantly.

This toy is reasonably easy to clean with warm water and an anti-bacterial soap.  You do need to take the batteries out of it and make sure the bottom of it is screwed on tightly. As long as you remember which way the batteries go into it, you’re good!

Once again, I cannot tell you how much I enjoy this vibrator.  I’m constantly going on about it to my friends.  It’s definitely worth a try and will fit most bodies very well.  This could be my ‘perfect toy,’ but I’ll keep looking for other pieces of perfection.
