Impulse micro bullet - bullet discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by her.royal.redness

The Impulse Micro Bullet by California Exotic was less than satisfactory for me, which isn't to say it should be written off. This little bullet is attached to a bulky blue hand held pack. It has three buttons: on/off, up, and down. There is a little pyramid like LED display that flashes and blinks as you use the toy, depending on the settings. It requires three AA batteries, which are not included with the toy.

The Impulse comes packaged in a plastic and cardboard container, with instructions included, but nothing to store the toy in after wards. It didn't have the usual awful new toy smell that most products have (But I carefully washed it off anyway, just to be safe! I HIGHLY recommend doing this with all new products). The hand held operating pack is about 2 and 1/4 inches long, and about the same around. It weighs in at about 0.2 pounds. In terms of materials it is a smooth, hard, blue plastic, but it's a bonus that it's phthalates free! I personally found the hand held portion of the pack to be a little bit bulky and uncomfortable to hold, but that just might be my small hands.

As mentioned previously this little bullet pack has 7 different speeds. They rotate through a variety of purely vibrating, pulsating, and a mixture of the two. They are able to get up to quite powerful (and quite loud. Even under two duvet blankets...) vibrations, which normally I enjoy, however you can't really control both the intensity and the function of the bullet at the same time. I found it to be incredibly sexually frustrating. It was never quite enough to push me over the edge, just enough to get me so very close, but never quite there. I have given this little toy several opportunities to prove itself. I've used it in a variety of situations, and with a variety of other toys, while trying to give the Impulse the time to prove itself... it just never could live up.

My overall experience with this toy was disappointing, I found it to be very frustrating, (an emotion no one generally wants to experience during sex play). I'm optimistic that eventually I'll be able to find a way to make this little bullet work in my favor, but currently it just doesn't quite do it.

I find that this toy has continued to be frustrating for me. I've tried this in combination with other toys, and gave it another chance solo but nothing I did made this little bullet work in a way that I found satisfying. Not to mention I still find the operating pack to be a little bit too big for my little hands. However it should be noted that the quality has held up marvelously, and surprisingly the battery life has lasted for a significantly long time. So that works in it's favor, but in my opinion that's about it.
