Almost Silicone, Almost Pleaser

Visually I think this toy is kinda cute. The texture is what compelled me to try it, because I like very subtle ridges. This toy does have a great shape but it's vibrations are so gentle, it's all but impossible for me to get off with this toy. However, the motor is virtually silent, emitting one of the lowest levels of noise I've ever experienced with a toy this cheap.

Use

This vibrator, though extremely weak, is very quiet. That means you can use it just about everywhere, except the shower or bath because it isn't waterproof by any means.

I use the tip of this toy (where the vibrations are strongest) against my clitoris for a warmup, but I find this toy is surprisingly good as a dildo or gentle g-spot vibrator. I imagine it would be okay to use this as an anal toy if you don't switch back and forth.

Anyone can use this toy, of course, but I imagine most people would be underwhelmed by it's strength; most people will be let down by how weak it is. The shape is delicious, and if that's what is appealing about this toy to you, do what I do and use it more as a dildo.

Material / Texture

If I remember correctly, this toy had a bit of a rubber smell to it when I first pulled it out of the package. I have left it free of the package ever since, and washed it multiple times with soap and water. Now, I have to hold within an inch of my nose to smell anything, but the smell is definitely still there.

I'm not too keen on tasting things that I know aren't pure silicone, nor do I taste things that smell of rubber. I assume this will taste bad.

It feels soft with a little bit of 'drag' that can make it hard to insert. The texture is firm but slightly squishy. Not much lint is attracted to it, but it does occasionally pick up some.

The texture is wonderful for me. I do need to use another toy before I do this one because the ridges can be too much texture for me, if I'm inserting it with the help of lube and absolutely no warm up.

I assume everyone could enjoy this texture, beginners included, especially because it helps make up where the vibration strength falls short.

Design / Shape / Size

I like the swirls and the bumps; I find them rather adorable. The base seems a little out of place (visually) to me, being hard and linear while the rest of the toy is soft and curvaceous. Nonetheless, the control does it's job, and hasn't turned on by accident.

The swirl at the top has enough of a hook to stroke and tease my g-spot but it isn't enough to give me a g-spot orgasm. The ridges down the back of the toy are very subtle, but feel great.

This toy is great for all users, beginner or advanced but I do recommend the use of a water-based lube with this toy. It can be hard to insert and even harder to thrust without the added slickness. The size is a little larger than average and it's texture makes it feel even bigger, so I don't know if virgins could use this toy comfortably.

It's not discreet at all; anyone who found this would know it was a vibrator. Travel-wise, I'd be hesitant to take this on a plane. If you choose to, warn the person who will be checking you bag that it's in there, and keep it in a ziplock so they don't get their germs on it.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrating bullet is housed at the very tip of this toy; if you look closely, you can see it in the pictures listed on this site. The vibrations stay very close to the bullet, so you don't need to worry about your fingers going numb while gripping the bottom of the toy. I would say, the vibrations are barely noticeable at the middle of the toy and down.

The controls are very easy to use, just turn the dial up or down depending on what level of vibration you need. The dial turns on/up clockwise, while the battery compartment is opened by turning it counter-clockwise. It takes a little bit of effort to open the battery compartment, so you don't need to worry about accidentally opening it.

This toy is so quiet, it won't be heard under the covers. If you, like me, use toys without any covers, you won't need to worry about it being heard through the door.

This toy does not look waterproof at all - no o-ring to keep out the water, so don't test it in the shower and be very careful about getting water on the controls.

Care and Maintenance

Keep this toy clean with water and soap after every use. You can also use an Antibacterial toy cleaner, if you like. Make sure to clean in between all the ridges, this is where the lube and bacteria likes to hide.

Be careful about leaving this toy next to pure silicone, especially the sensitive ones such as VixSkin and O2. This is a compound material, and even though it isn't jelly, it could have a bad impact on your 100% silicone toys. If you store all your toys together (like I do) put this toy in a plastic bag, a cloth bag or wrap it in some old fabric.

Use only water-based lubes with this toy because silicone lubes will be especially prone to bonding with this toy.

Packaging

The Swirls Pleaser is packaged in a plastic clamshell with a slick sheet. The plastic is recycleable but the cardboard/slick info sheet is not.

I wouldn't recommend this for a gift because it doesn't look high quality, plus it isn't discreet at all. It could be used for storage but it would take up quite a bit of room. This material doesn't pick up very much lint, so I doubt you need to keep this box at all (unless to keep this toy separate from 100% silicone toys.

There wasn't much information included with this toy at all. You will have to guess which way the batteries go it, but at least it's a 50/50 shot, right?
