The Waterproof Mood Light Slimline Penis (hereafter referred to as the "WMLSP") works great for clitoral stimulation, whether solo or with a partner, either by itself or used in conjunction with penetration. The flared lower portion of the toy also makes it a viable choice for anal stimulation as well, if one is careful, but we've never personally used it for such. It's splash-proof enough to use in the shower, though its lack of a discernible O-ring in the battery compartment could spell problems for the toy if left submerged for an extended period.

The WMLSP works well for internal or external stimulation, and its vibrations should be powerful enough for most users. The toy does not have any variations in vibration pattern, however, so if pattern variety is your thing, you're not going to find it here. That being said, the WMLSP is a great standard vibe whose whimsical "mood light" feature and slim width should make it an especially attractive choice for beginners.

Out of the box, the WMLSP had only a light smell which has faded over time with use and cleaning. The toy has a thin, translucent jelly covering over top of a rigid and clear plastic housing which contains the motor and LED light. Its jelly surface is smooth, with a mildly veiny texture that can be lightly felt when not in vibration mode. It also has no taste, and its texture has not grown tacky or rough over two years of average use and repeated cleanings.

I break down the overall design of the WMLSP into four parts: the control knob, the flared bulge, a thin lower portion of the shaft, and a slightly larger upper portion where the motor and light are housed. I decided to break out my cloth tape measure, and I found that some of the measurements on the product page are slightly off. My measurements are as follows:

As our first vibrator, the slim nature of the toy's shaft is non-intimidating, and it has worked well for us. The flared bulge makes a handy piece to hold on to for control when you're trying to be careful not to bump the vibe's dial, and it would also make a decent "stop" for if you decide to use the toy for anal exploration. Since the toy's motor is located in the slightly thicker upper half, its vibrations can be felt very strongly during deep penetration.

I'd be remiss if I didn't start off here by mentioning the "mood light" function of the toy. While the vibe is on, an LED light in its head cycles through a series of colors - from red, to green, to blue, and back again - every 5 seconds regardless of vibration speed. The LED if bright enough to be seen plainly in the dark and under thin sheets, but not much more. It's a very unique feature to see on a vibe; it's actually the one that drew our attention to this toy over so many others and made it seem less "intimidating". The control is an analog dial with no "stops" at different intensity levels. In playing with the dial, I was able to discern about three different speeds/intensities: a low rumble, a mid-paced hum, and a fast & strong buzz. The lack of presets, however, means that the toy could bounce through any number of intensities or even shut off if you're not careful. This has happened to me on multiple occasions when using the toy with a partner, especially when trying to maintain the "low rumble" setting. We also had the battery compartment pop open a time or two when trying to adjust the knob, so make sure it's on tight if you don't want to kill a good rhythm.

The toy's vibrations can be most strongly felt in the upper half of the toy and only mildly felt in the control knob. This provides for some good, deep sensations when used vaginally. Our favorite way to use the toy, however, is to lay it between us while doing missionary position so that it stimulates both her and I at the same time. This has done wonders for us, providing what most vibrating cock rings have promised us in the past but failed to deliver.

Being a fairly porous jelly toy, the WMLSP cannot be sterilized. Since the toy's smooth surface tends to be a magnet for hair and dust, we keep it clean by washing with an anti-bacterial soap and water after each play session, and we use the toy for vaginal play only. If you're going to share this toy with another person or use it anally, you should definitely use a condom with it. We have only used the toy with water-based lubricants, but silicone lubes should be safe to use as well, since the vibe itself is not made of silicone.

Should that day come, this clinically-named chunk of jelly and plastic has disco danced its way so far into our hearts that we probably wouldn't know what to do if we didn't at least pick up another one on sale!
