I was excited to try this out as I've never really owned a vibrator before and I couldn't wait to tear open the box when it arrived. The semi-clear box that it comes in not only presented it very well but is also great for storage when it's not in use.
This 7.25" vibrator is made out of plastic with a hard metallic looking coating on the outside. Mine did have a tiny chip in the coating right by the non-insertable end but otherwise was flawless. I am worried that this coating could start to peel off and chip more but I haven't had any problems as of yet. The bottom cap unscrews to reveal the battery compartment and has a plastic gem securely attached to the bottom for aesthetics. There is no flexibility at all in this plastic vibrator. If you're looking to use it for anal like I was be careful as it does not have a flared base and you wouldn't want it to slip inside.
After adding two AA batteries and screwing the cap back on it's ready to go. To turn it on and adjust the strength of the vibrations you just need to twist the bottom portion of the cap with the gem on it. This can be difficult to do if your hands are wet or have any sort of lube on them as it's almost impossible to get a solid grip on it to twist the bottom to on. The vibration seems to come near the insertable tip which provides very strong sensations. It's amazingly powerful when fully turned on but also quite loud. If you're looking for a quiet toy then I'd recommend you look elsewhere as this could easily wake up roommates.
Since this toy is plastic, it's quite easily and safely cleaned with soap and hot water. Any type of oil, silicone, or water-based lubricants can be used with it and it is waterproof as well.
