Bliss May be Overstating it

The Spiral of Bliss is best used for clitoral stimulation and vaginal penetration. It has seven different cycles which are changed by pressing a button at the bottom of the vibrator. The 1-1/2" diameter may be girthy for some, especially beginners. But the main strike against the Spiral of Bliss is the seam that runs horizontally on two sides and over the tip. You'll be able to use this vibrator in water, however, there is a lip at the base of the vibrator where it looks like water can penetrate under the TPR and get trapped.

While it is possible to get off using this vibrator, the seam on the edge will prevent this from being one of my go to toys.

The Spiral of Bliss is made of TPR silicone, which means you should only be using a water based lubricant with it. The TRP silicone feels firm but rubbery. Squeezing it causes a little give, but not much. The swirl design can make this difficult to clean and dry and the overall design of this vibrator looks cheap despite the decent material.

I was initially intrigued by the spiral design of this vibrator, however, when I received it, I was disappointed. There is a large seam running the length of the toy which I could feel when I was trying to enjoy myself. The spiral of TPR silicone has been slipped on over what feels like a plastic vibrator, but the fit is loose enough for water to get in, and for me to fit the edge of my finger onto the plastic. So even though this device claims to be waterproof, mold could be an issue if you use it with water and are not very careful about making sure it is dry.

The size of this toy can be a little daunting so it may not be best for beginners. For reference, at this toys widest point I can just touch my thumb and forefinger together. The Spiral of Bliss is not discreet, so you may not want to leave it out in the open.

The Spiral of Bliss runs on two AA batteries inserted at the base of the toy. The battery compartment cap screws on over the batteries, however it does not lock, so if you twist it too hard it will not lock into place. So be careful about making sure the batteries are sealed in so that water does not get into the battery compartment.

The Spiral of Bliss is not all bad. There are seven different cycles of vibration which are controlled by a button at the base of the vibrator. The first three are all buzzy and differ in intensity. The other four cycles are variations on pulse.

The first is a steady, equal pulse.
The second is four quick pulses and one slightly longer pulse.
The third cycles through eight levels of vibration climbing up and down like a music scale: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
The final level offers two pulse of vibration for eight levels of intensity: 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8.

Though the last two vibration cycles have eight levels of intensity, they only vary from the weakest constant buzz of intensity to the strongest constant buzz of intensity offered in the three constant speed cycles.

My favorite settings were the quick pulsing setting and the quick pulses with the one sustained pulse.

The volume of this toy depends on which cycle you are using. At its loudest the toy may be barely audible through a closed door.

The spiral shape can make it a little difficult to clean, but you should be fine as long as you are thorough with toy cleaner or mild soap and warm water. TPR silicone is not compatible with silicone based lubes, so you should use water based lubricants to avoid damaging the toy.

The Spiral of Bliss comes in a simple plastic casing. There are not any instructions, however, the toy is very easy to operate since there is only one button, so instructions are not necessary.

I store this toy in a plastic bag, though the case the Spiral of Bliss comes in is designed so that you don't have to tear it or cut it open to retrieve the toy which means you could store it in its original package if you have room.
